Great coffee substitute
Being a fan of NO CAF for a long time, we were finding it hard to obtain. Glad to find this source. Come very well packaged. Great coffee substitute if you find you react to the real thing!

Okay substitute
Drinking as a coffee substitute as I've been told to avoid coffee.It's sweet in taste so needs no added sweetener. The taste reminds me of the cheaper powdered coffee with chicory. It's okay but probably not for everyone. It's good for those who need to avoid coffee and caffeine but you might find it too sweet if your normally not adding sweeteners to your drink.

This is a lovely drink that feels like a coffee even though made up of barley and chicory etc. it warms you through and we can’t get enough of it .

Great For Those Of Us Who Can't Have Coffee
A ristretto was always my go-to but after an illness, I discovered I could no longer tolerate coffee at all. Not even a lungo.I resigned myself to a coffee-free life.And then I discovered Whole Earth's No Caf Coffee Alternative. Made with malted barley, chicory, rye, and figs, it's a more than acceptable substitute.Admittedly, it's not a direct replacement for freshly ground and brewed coffee, and I do have to use 2-3 teaspoons in order to get a decent-tasting beverage but I'm not complaining. It means I can have a delicious coffee-flavoured drink without any negative consequences. Plus, because it has no caffeine, I can drink it in the evenings. And that gives me a very big happy!(Do note that it is not gluten-free, though.)

At the time I couldnt find any 'proper' coffee that was fully caffeine free. If it exists, I've never tried it. (Decaf coffee has less caffein in it but still has some, and some studies say its worse for you than caffeinated coffee)I tried a few coffee alternatives and this was the nicest. It tastes like very weak coffee, a bit like camp coffee (which you dont seem to find around much these days)You can get dandelion coffee (i tried a few brands and hated them all) and I tried a barley based one which tasted strangely like mushrooms.I'd recommend whole earth, I'm back on the coffee now but still keep a jar of whole earth in the cupboard.(i find it tastes best if you make it with warm milk instead of hot water, and use 2 teaspoons full rather than 1.)-I hope that helps a bit?"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is it considered to contain gluten?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"A: a tiny teeny trace of gluten would likely be in there due to the tiny bit of rye (listed in ingredients as 2% rye and figs) so would be miniscule: that means a yes to your #️⃣glutenquestion"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is it for moka or kettle?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"No idea what you mean by this? You just use boiling water from the kettle - I use about 2 teaspoons and lots of milk + hot water, so I then pop that in the microwave as the milk cools it down quite a bit. But it's all about personal taste / heat preferences of course!"}}]}]}
