EarMax For Shure SE 215 215 315 535 upgrade audio cable with remote control mic , replacement upgrade earphone cable

ALMOST Best Aftermarket Cable for Shure SE535 .Positive: works well. connects to earbuds securely. (sorry for other users who reported loosing earbuds). I like non-fold and non-tangle cable without being flat or without being braided cable. sits comfortably behind ears, but cable in front allowing good mic pickup. good tightening ring to secure cable. like thin plug.Negatives: 1.on-off and vol+ vol- buttons a bit small so my fingers keeps pressing wrong button. 2. and main negative for me - and only because I use Mackbook Pro - when plugged in to mackbook pro audio in+out jack port - it would only work as earphones but not as microphone. where originals work as well as microphone too. Unfortunately due to this - i had to stop using them since i have lots of web-conference calls and need microphone daily 3~6 times

Very dissapointed. The cable can't be worn as the original by sitting over the ear & round the back of the head due to the controller & mic being attached to the left cable at about 4" from end of cable preventing the tightening toggle from doing what it's designed to do. So cable has to be worn dangeling from under chin. I use my headphones whilst working in a physically demanding job & rely on the original cable to stay at the back of my head thus keeping it well out of the way of what I'm doing. Not with this sadly.As for receiving calls & using the built in mic I cannot comment on yet as only just fitted my ear buds but will give a more comprehensive review at a later date. The actual earbuds themselves don't seem to click into the cable as securely as originals either as already had the left bud pop off more than once! GrrrrrrVery frustrating indeed so far. But then, buy cheap, by twice as my other half always informs me & in this instance I think she's quite right once again

I've had the product for a few weeks now and I'm extremely happy with it. It's even better than the original SHURE replacement cables! I especially like the cable coating which deters cabling getting tangled. The sound quality is great and you can hear the difference compared to cheaper replacements that I bought before. Extra bonus is the volume remote control plus microphone which works perfectly. It is definitely an upgrade to the original and worth the money. Don't waste your money on other cheaper versions as I've done before

I bought this cable when it was sold under a different seller. It lasted 4 months under regular use before it started to cut out. The original cable lasted nearly 3 years as a comparison. The sound is good, the design is good, the feel is good, it's just not a very robust build quality.
