Rice Bowl 5" (12.5cm) (Box of 6) - Great Value Pure White Crockery for Your Home

Really nice white bowls that are fab for home dining and entertaining. I don't like thick rimmed bowls and these are just right IMO. I think they're a perfect portion size for a bowl of curry. I usually fill one of the bowls for a rice serving then place a plate over it before turning the plate over so it's upright so I'm left with a nice dome of rice on the plate, then I serve this with a bowl filled with curry and serve it with some naan bread wedges on the side. Presentation wise this looks lovely, the portion size is filling without being over-facing, and it's practical too as the sauce stays on the meat/veg keeping it hot and moist rather than spreading all over & absorbing into the rice serving. I love these bowls and will buy a set for my daughter when she leaves home.

For the price, they do the job.In the first picture, I've put one next to a white cereal/soup bowl from Asda to demonstrate that the colour is off white / more cream coloured. To the touch, these little bowls also feel thick which isn't very elegant but again, price vs use.In the second picture, I've put a normal sized plum in to demonstrate the depth. I put in a second plum but then neither plum touched the bottom because there is not enough space to hold them comfortably. I mainly purchased these to hold small amounts of sides (like a Korean banchan or Spanish tapas).

They are a little on the thick/heavy side and not quite true white when placed next to some of our better dishes, but the price is right.

They were slightly smaller than I thought they would be but pretty perfect for the purpose, so not complaining!

Poor quality. Look like seconds. Slight markings on all. Print underneath pretty faded. Bowls not of equal weight. Needed them for a dinner party. Otherwise I would probably send them back. Over priced for the quality I received. You may do better in a pound shop.

They arrived safely and were as described, but were a bit small for what I needed.

Yes, good value. Just the right size for my morning cereal. Would also make nice salad side bowls

Brilliant bowls. I actually use them for my 1 year old baby - they are great for holding his portion sizes and because they are oven proof, microwavable, they are good for heating up and even cooking food in the oven (mini fish pies etc).Very happy with the quality of these and the speed of the delivery, I've purchased twice from this seller.
