3M 1469sb Vetbond Tissue Adhesive with 3 ml Applicator Bottle

It’s a great product, but for some reason every time I order, it has very short shelf life. This pack arrived on the 25th Jan 2025 and best before is until end of Feb 2025… After contacting customer service, they were happy to swap the product for a newer batch. Which is really cool! Any issues - make sure to reach out to their team! :)

Technically for pets, but the same stuff as human skin glue, just cheaper. Stabbed the end of my finger with a stanley knife (in stupidity, not just to test it) and it held the cut together brilliantly & it healed fast. Would have been a painful, bleeding mess that kept reopening for days without this. Really useful to have on hand for DIY/falling over emergencies. (Do read the bit about not using on deep wounds though - you don't want to seal in internal bleeding and there is a time and place for a visit to hospital for stitches!)

Great stuff, though human stuff works just as well and is a LOT cheaper

Perfect I glued a rather nasty gash in my Rottweilers chest with it. 4 years on, she’s fine.

Undecided about this as it didn't really glue skin too well. Eventually it did but then it never seemed to dissolve and I am tempted to re-open wound in order to remove it!? It is a known quality brand but maybe I had a bad batch or old one that wasn't kept in suitable environment?

Used once so far, worked really well and healed with minimal scarring. It's very liquid, so be careful to wear gloves & not let it drip anywhere, but that allows it deep in the cut to seal easily. I'm glad to have it in the cupboard for future emergencies

Very very good, the dogbhad a puncture wound to his head from a clash with another dog, I put antibacterial powder in, then sealed up with this product and then a spray of aluminum antibacterial spray ontop, the glue held amazingly without any further need for application, healed very fast and no scar or fur loss has been left, as it was a hole and not a clean cut i was dubious but it held amazingly, no stitches required and no stress full vet.

I am a custom knife maker and dealing with razor sharp knives in the workshop daily it is inevitable that you get cut deep sometimes. I use this for those cuts and it works perfectly every time. I like it as it dissolves with warm water after sometime

Ein super Produkt zum schnellen Verschließen von allerlei Wunden. Wenn man sich die Preise von humanmedizinischen Gewebeklebern anschaut, welche sich auf bis zu 200€ belaufen können, viel mir meine Entscheidung hier nicht schwer! Das Produkt kam vor dem angegebenen Lieferdatum und war ausreichen Verpackt! Bei der Anwendung ist zu beachten das der Kleber nicht an der Luft aushärtet, sonder wie es scheint, erst bei Kontakt mit der Haut/Blut. Daher kann man die Flasche mit angebrachter Spitze auch mal ne halbe Stunde stehen lassen ohne das was passiert. Man sollte jedoch darauf achten bei der Verwendung die Spitze nicht an die zu schließende Stelle zu halten da sonst der Kleber in der Spitze aushärtet und Selbige verschließt. Man muss dann mit einer Schere oder Messer die Spitze abtrennen um sie wieder verwenden zu können. Einfach einen kleinen Tropfen auf die zu schließende Stelle geben und ggf. falls man zu viel aufgetragen hat schnell mit einem Tuch den überschüssigen Kleber abwischen und dabei aufpassen das Tuch nicht am Gewebe festzukleben. Zuletzt ist noch anzumerken den Kleber nicht auf eine blutende Wunde zu geben, da sich Selbige dadurch schlecht oder gar nicht schließt. Also Blutung stoppen, Wundränder falls notwendig zusammendrücken und dann Kleber auftragen und sicherstellen das die Wunder verschlossen ist. Zuletzt ggf. noch ein Pflaster aufbringen um die Wunde ein wenig zu schützen. Alles in allem ein super Produkt zu einem sehr erschwinglichen Preis!
