I'm glad to have found these lower dose probiotics. At the moment I'm taking one a day on an empty stomach half an hour before breakfast. This works well for me in preventing acid reflux. Now I'm used to them and have experience no negative effects, I'm considering increasing the dose by having another capsule before my evening meal, too. The capsules are quite large, but the swallowing trick that works for me is to put the capsule on the tip of my tongue and then put some water in my mouth and swig down the capsule while turning my head sideways to open my throat better. This is how I swallow all capsules and pills. Before that, my gag reflexes kicked in as I have a narrow throat, and things would get lodged so I felt near to choking. I will add the disclaimer that I can't guarantee my way of swallowing pills will work for everybody!

A good basic probiotic and recommend by my holistic nutritionist.

As described. Who knows what effect they have. I bought for vegan cheese making.

I like this product but dropped a star as it really makes me gassy! 😒

This brand seems to be OK. I've used other brands over the years but I will stay with Solgar.On a side note, the description of this product seems to have been confused with a Vitamin C tablet. There is no Vit C in this. It has nothing to do with Vit C. I'm sure this is an oversight but it ought to be rectified ASAP..

I’ve bought these twice now and am convinced they are genuine. They are good value and you don’t have to keep them refrigerated. They have not upset my stomach even if I take two a day rather than one. Can never prove they help, but theoretically they should!

Solgar have always been my go-to brand for any vitamins, minerals and supplements, I used to work in a Health Food Store and they were always excellent. We take these as they are great of replacing the good 'friendly' bacteria in the digestive system, especially when you are taking antibiotics, and to treat thrush caused by steroid tablets (always check all this with your doctor of course). One thing is that I couldn't see the full ingredient list, and has we have allergies, I needed to know if they had any traces of nuts or seeds in them, and my question I posted wasn't answered, so I bought them and took photos of all sides of the bottle to help others to see exactly what is in them.

I guess a lot of people like me will be buying this product to cure or help with candida , candida symtoms .These do not work. Same as every product suppose to help candida. The only thing that work is the 80/10/10 diet. Fixed me within two weeks, no symptons and feeling great and happy. Eat fruit all day, everyday. Rating a 3 because arrived come quickly, cool holder which I re used lol. But has to take away two stars because they simpally do not work.
