Radio Flyer Classic Red Dual Deck Tricycle, Outdoor Toddler Trike, Ages 2-5

We bought a shiny red Radio Flyer for our grandson Nathan's second birthday and I was immediately impressed by the quality and finish of the product when I got it out of the box and assembled it. Unlike flat packed furniture all the bits were there and they fitted together perfectly to make a reassuringly heavy and robust trike that will last him for years to come without ever going out of fashion. The only drawback is that he can't quite get both feet on the pedals just yet but he is happy to scoot round the house - if it ever stops snowing we will be able to take it outside for a proper road test!

Quality is fantastic and love the covering on the spokes. Wish there was an option to add a basket in the back or as an accessory in the front but it’s lovely. I’m 5’4 and even I was able to take an awkward spin on it! 😂my 5 yr old is thrilled with it.

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter as she told everyone Santa was bringing her a red bike for xmas. Really good quality but see what others mean about paint work around wheels it isn't done well If this was rectified it would have received a 5 star review. Sturdy trike and my daughter loves it, will last year's. Very quickly delivered. Thanks

The bike is nice and sturdy but makes the most horrendous noise. As it’s going to be used in the house we can’t oil it. Also the nuts catch the children’s feet as they cycle.

Very heavy tricycle. Another product from china that do not come in favour when talking about Chinese quality... Specially considering the price.

Awesome bike and very well made. I bought it as a Christmas present for my 2 year old. Although she can't reach the peddles, she still enjoys a ride. Classic design and sturdy

I ordered this item for my two year old grand daughter. We were expecting good, dependable quality and design. I opened the box, to be met with shoddily painted metalwork, whitewall tyres that looked like they had been painted by a disinterested three year old with a wallpaper brush! The wheels and mudguards had sharp edges that could very easily slice open a little finger. The quality control of this product must have either slipped dramatically or been moved to a Chinese factory where western standards of manufacture are readily ignored. On the basis of now having bought this same trike twice and having to return both for exactly the same reasons, I will NOT BUY this product again and I would advise those who are looking for a trike to find an alternative. I even ordered one from another supplier (not Amazon) and had to return the trike for the very same problems! Needless to say, I have a very disappointed two year old! DONT buy this product!

I would have given this beautiful RadioFlyers Trike a 5 star if I had received a well made product which RadioFlyers are known for...BUT...Amazon were a big let down. I ordered for delivery the week before my sons 3rd Birthday which arrived with plenty of time.. I planned to build the trike the night before his birthday so it was built and ready to ride when he wakes up on the morning of his Birthday. When I opened it up after the kids were in bed to build it, I was shocked at what I had received and ESPECIALLY for what you pay for these Trikes! I would describe it as what has to of been a FACTORY REJECT, NOT FIT TO SELL IN THE STORES.. you get products on the factory line that just don't make it, LOOKED LIKE IT DIDN'T PASS QUALITY CONTROL?! The paint around the wheels was botched, splattered, rubber on the tyres wasn't finished off properly, metal older the seat was sharp and weakly welded on! I'm not talking about being a fussy customer, it was beyond that, this was just SO HORRIBLE! I was devastated. It was my sons main big birthday present he had gone on about for months.. "I like a red bike mummy". I got Amazon on the phone just past 11pm Friday night to attempt to get another redelivered next morning Saturday but they said they can only arrange delivery for Monday. I didn't trust them as the advertised product said delivery Sunday so I ordered another myself! Sure enough, the 2nd trike I ordered arrived on Sunday (day after his birthday) whilst the one Amazon said they would FAST TRACK came 2 days later on Monday!! Either way... on my sons birthday he stared at the box with the broken, faulty, factory rejected and poor quality trike in it but couldn't open it! My advice would be..CHECK THE CONTENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS TRIKE FOR IMPERFECTIONS.. the second and third trike that got delivered both had imperfections but no where as near as the state of the first one! rest assured though, if you get a perfect made one, its a beautiful trike for a 3year old and my son loves it now he has a good one :) I recommend getting a personalised kids number plate off ebay to stick to the back! Finished it off with his name plate nicely :) UPDATE: Lastly, the picture is wrong. I received the dual deck trike as said in the title.

Tak jak pisali poprzednicy jakoś farby na kołach jest straszna, ostre krawędzie też nie są niczym dziwnym. Siodełko jakkolwiek się przykręci i tak będzie się przekręcało i odkręcało, a w instrukcji jest napisane wyraźnie, że za mocno nie można. Dzieci na tym pojadą, owszem, ale absolutnie nie nastawiałbym się na piesze wędrówki z dzieckiem na tym rowerku, nie ma najmniejszych szans. A dodatkowo tylne koła niemiłosiernie skrzypią. Jednak za tą cenę spodziewałem się czegoś innego.

After having reviewed tons of kids tricycles, we ordered the Radio Flyer. It certainly is visually quite appealing with the retro style. It is sturdy and heavy built. The steering limiter is also good. On the downside, one would expect that the wheels turn straight (they are super wobbly front and back). Even after oiling every possible area, the tricycle squeaks and rattles. The rear wheels are just stuck on the bar, no bartings and nothing to ensure a proper roll. All wheels are rubber (not pneumatic wheels, ie limited suspension). The saddle was welded on crooked in the version we got and it always tileted and friend when fastened. For a medium priced tricycle I would have expected better quality control for sure.
