WS6828 User Review
I setup the WS6828 a few days ago and I am currently using it to monitor the humidity and temperature in my touring caravan whilst it is not being used. The caravan is about forty metres from the house and the remote transmitter/sensor is in the caravan, whilst the weather station console is in the house. The remote transmitter/sensor signal was detected quickly even though the signal needs to pass through the house wall and the caravan window, so no problems there. When compared with a calibrated thermometer, the console reads within 1.5 degrees C, whilst the remote sensor reads 2 degrees C low tested at 22 degrees C. The humidity recorded by the remote sensor when both units are in close proximity, is typically 6 - 8 % lower than the main console value. After one week of operation the barometer pictorial display has not changed and is still showing “partly sunny” weather even though it has been raining here on and off for the last four days. However, the local pressure is 1032 MPa and rising, so this may be correct. The integrated barometer needs time to learn and it should react to a significant change in pressure when the weather changes. (edit 18/4/2015. The WS6828 has now reacted to an increase in atmospheric pressure and the pictorial representation has changed, so all working well). It should be noted that the display text language is in French and not in English as shown on Amazon. Only the language of the day abbreviations can be changed. However, this is a minor issue as the internal and external numerical values are immediately obvious. The mains connection is a two-pin European plug, so an adapter is required for UK 3-pin sockets. I have not tested the alarm settings as I do not need this function. The instruction paper is comprehensive and written in plain English with an easy to follow setup guide. The DCF signal from Frankfurt is received here in the midlands and the time can be adjusted to UK time.I am currently using AAA lithium batteries in the main console with AA alkaline batteries in the transmitter/sensor. I am happy with the WS6828, it is accurate and has a bright colourful display and satisfies my needs.

device is in french!
This was precisely the product I was looking for, worked perfectly as described, with one flaw: Although there is a language setting that affects, eg, the days of the week, the rest of the LCD screen (and the "fixed" text such as "Outdoor Temperature") was all in French, which was not consistent with the picture above, so I returned it.
