(TM) Vintage Canvas Backpacks School Unisex

Bought this intending to use it for heavy groceries but have ended up using it as my regular bag.Positives:1. Very handy compartments and pockets2. Overall hard-wearing construction3. Good capacity4. Looks goodNegatives:1. Faulty zips in some cases - one of the pocket zips broke within a couple of weeks and one of the others sometimes seems a bit dodgy (runs one end to the other without closing but will usually work when run back the other way). Not the end of the world as there are a /lot/ of pockets, but not what you want from a new bag.2. Not waterproof. Thick enough to stand some light rain without soaking the things inside but definite not equipped to deal with prolonged, heavy rain.The heavy English summer rain has gone through it a couple of times.

I have used this bag almost every single day since I purchased it almost 9 months ago. I love it to bits! It is still in a good condition with few sign of wear and tear. It's good-looking, roomy, and has gotten through dreadful Glasgow weather. Not water-proof, but Glasgow-proof, which makes it good enough for me.It is worth noting, however, that there have been problems with it. The leather attached to the zips on the side pockets have long since fallen off, but they still open easily. Additionally, early on one of the main magnetic buckles broke on the bag - rendering it fairly useless, as it wouldn't close properly. When I contacted the company, they swiftly replied and sent me buckles to replace the one I had. A new bag would have been more ideal, but it did solve my problem.All in all, I am happy nearly a year later - with the bag and with the service.

I bought this because I needed a practical backpack that looked good.It has served me brilliantly with no problems at all.The number and different design of the many pockets really makes it multi-functional - a space for everything.It is easy to close, and there are some more secure pockets, behind other pockets, that make it quite safe.I have travelled with it many times, and it is easy to squish it into many spaces on aeroplanes, trains, cars etc.It has lasted well for a few years so far, and I see no reason why it won't last many more...

This is the second time I am buying this bag and love the fact that it has multiple pockets and the vintage feel makes me feel in between a Pokemon trainer and a Himalayan hiker. It's such a shame that the reason this drops 2 stars is because the magnet strap keeps breaking and this was the reason I bought the new one. It is also a little annoying that it isn't waterproof. This is a big issue when you live in London and you're walking 30 minutes in the winter season. If they sorted out this problem, that would be great but the product only lasts me 3-5 months which isn't worth it's value. It is asthetically pleasing but over time I've realized it is less durable

I've had this rucksack now for around 2 years. I ordered one I thought was going to be green but it turns out I got the brown looking one - its fine though. I read other comments before I bought re the zips and the magnetic closers. They are a little true. I gave my zips a quick spray with WD40 and have had no issue what so ever. With the magnetic closers - I just open them normally rather than rip at them you'll be fine, and they are really strong too. I use it daily for day to day stuff for a day at work and I love its old fashioned and worn look. For the price its been great value. I'd highly recommend.

I bought this backpack over a year ago and am delighted with my purchase (I'm not sure why it is classed as a men's bag!). It has been used for day to day purposes for work and when out and about generally, and I prefer it to carrying a handbag. I have used it for a carry-on bag on flights to Australia and America (for numerous bits and pieces), and countries nearer to home. I have used it most days, wherever I am going. It is probably the most useful bag/backpack I have ever owned. It is roomy and I love the three pockets at the front and those inside. The pull string keeps everything secure and the magnetic closings on the straps make it easy to open and close. After so much use, it still looks good, too.

I bought this bag for school at the start of 2017. 4 years on, having carried a library of books day in day out, probably a 1/3 of my body weight in just stuff for going on holiday where it was heavier than my actual suitcase, been chucked around on tables and dragged across the floor, this bag is still going strong. There’s some wear on the corners of the bottom now and I don’t blame it for that. There’s no sign of wear in the seams and the zips are good as new.Couldn’t recommend this bag enough. Best money I’ve ever spent and when it does finally die a hero’s death I’ll be buying it again.

We needed a baby change bag that could be carried with a baby sling, had loads of compartments and that wasn't super girly as both me and my husband would be using it- I would also be using it as my handbag so wanted something not too manly and bulky- so far so impossible. I searched high and low for the perfect rucksack- so many don't have and pockets at all, even if they are 'designer' and seriously expensive, and army style canvas bags are enormous... until I found this. It's perfect.Loads and I mean loads of internal pockets, seriously good quality, easy popper access to the main compartments, (faux buckle) and amazing value for money. We've only had it a week so can't comment on durability but even if it wears out in a few short months (which I'm sure it won't as so well made) I would be buying another.
