Very good puzzle
A very good puzzle, and as another reviwer said - not as easy as it first seems. Excellent quality as usual from Ravensburger but be aware that this is a rehash of an earlier (non Christmas) puzzle with Christmas additions. However I still enjoyed it. The extra picture included is useful as I always do these with my son and it gives us both a copy of the picture.

More difficult than first appears but very satisfying
Perfect jigsaw for family group activity on those quieter moments/lulls between meals.Helpful to be able to see most of the picture on the lid and also to have an extra smaller picture to hand. My 5 year old great niece managed a few pieces with help of her mum and dad, and majority kept my 54 year old brother and me busy for several days. As my bro said it appears deceptively easy but is more demanding than first thought! Will return to it next year I think and other Colin Thompson’s through the year.

fun, well made, challenging puzzle - as ever!
Ravensburger puzzles, especially Colin Thompson/Curious Cupboard ones, are our Christmas favourites. Once again this proved a treat. Fantastic quality puzzle, and a delightfully challenging design by the artist with fun quirks to make us smirk. We will do this puzzle one more time this year when we visit my parents - who are also puzzle lovers. And then we'll look forward to another: please keep them coming, Ravensburger/Mr Thompson!

Puzzles Puzzles.....
Puzzles puzzles puzzles.... I personal have no time or patience for puzzles but my wife does and she has done many puzzles over the years. She has had issues with bits missing or pieces not linking properly, puzzle pieces poorly cut... But has NEVER and I say never had this problem with Ravensburger. She states they are the best and only puzzle company to go to, and as a result we now have a cupboard full of Ravensburger puzzles.

Winning design and good manufacture
Another terrific Colin Thompson design. He really knows how to create puzzle pictures that are satisfying from start to finish. Sections of like colour are always subtly different, so you don't end up frustrated by trying to fit a piece from the wrong part of the puzzle into the bit you're working on. The ravensburger quality is always dependable: pieces are beautifully cut, and each piece is a unique shape; they click satisfyingly into place. Reflection in artificial light is a bit of a problem despite the textured surface which is supposed to avoid that (hence the 4 stars as it makes quite a difference to doability with a large puzzle). It's not a matte finish. Schmidt seem to have cracked that problem rather better (though still not matte finish) but don't have these Thompson designs. This is an excellent addition to the cupboard/box series (5 stars for the picture), and nicely festive to do over Christmas.

Ravensburger puzzles designed by Colin Thompson is the best
Ravensburger puzzles designed by Colin Thompson are entertaining and fun to do. Family and friends can't help themselves to join in putting in some pieces. The pictures are inventive and clever. The eye travels over the picture and enjoys all the details. Unbeatable.
