Been using beard oils for a few years and while I like some of the scented oil it’s nice to have a basic one for when you’re just not in the mood for a smell. Besides you do need a change, you can get fed up of any smell if you use it every day. Anyway I’m not convinced any of the fancier and more expensive oils really make much of a difference so I’m happy to get one that does the job for a good price to save a few pennies. Comes in a nice bottle (with a nice box which I guess means you could give it as a present). Doesn’t have any smell as far as I can tell and is absorbed quickly which is what you would expect since the oils used are pretty standard in beard oils and cosmetic products so I guess it does what I want without any outrageous claims about making me look incredibly handsome and sexy (surely I am handsome enough already?). Makes my beard feel nice and soft and tames it a bit (though It’s only an oil so it doesn’t have a big hold - you need something else for that). A couple of squirts in the morning onto my hands and rub it in and I feel better. Any left overs I rub onto my face for a nice moisturising effect which I can’t normally be bothered to do. So if you don’t want anything too fancy or aren’t bothered with a fragrance (which can be a bit of pot luck) this will save you some money

Average beard oil has an odd smell
Hasn’t sorted out my dry skin under my beard which was mostly what I was hoping for. You get a lot for the price which is a plus because many beard oils charge you a fortune for a thimble full of oil. My beard does feel a little bit softer. I can still smell it even though it isn’t scented and to be honest I find the smell unpleasant. It’s hard to describe, almost like a play dough smell.

Good stuff. Main reason I chose this was because it is fragrance free. However, very bad idea to sell this in a large glass bottle. Within a few weeks of using it, the bottle became very greasy, slipped out of my hands and shattered. Its a large quantity of oil in a large, fairly weighty bottle so it does not exactly fit safely in the palm of your hand. Surely this stuff can be sold in a hard plastic bottle instead, one that bounces when it slips out of your hand and into the bathroom sink below? Will probably not buy again for this reason, which is a shame as the oil itself seems good. Oil: 5 stars. Packaging: 2 stars.

After buying the scented beard oil from Bearly Bearded (which is very pleasant to use), I thought I'd try the fragrance-free version.Again I really like it - nice packaging and great value for money for the amount of oil you get. The feel of the oil is just right - not too oily, not too watery and doesn't leave you with mega-oily hands (you only need to use a little - a gentle squirt will suffice most normal-length beards). It's nice to use as a daily oil when you might not necessarily want to have a scented oil all the time or, if you're wearing aftershave and don't want the scents clashing.Highly recommended!

Solid product
Nice beard oil with no scent. Only need a few drops for it to be effective. Would recommend using a beard comb to spread it evenly throughout beard. Good price. However packaging could be better. Bottle came in a little box which had popped open. Doesn't impact the oil itself though.

As I'm new to growing beards, I don't have much experience with this sort of thing, but did find this helped. My beard is course and itching but when I use this it's a lot softer and a lot less itchy. I only use a few drops at a time so it will last a long time, but I will definitely buy again when I run out.

Excellent ... And plenty of it too!
Helped soften up my beard pretty quickly and no more itching. Big bottle too so I wasn't worried about applying enough. No added scents but does have a very subtle and pleasant aroma from the base oils. Highly recommended. Will definitely buy again... but still plenty left in bottle at the moment!
