Reckon I will give it a 4 1/2 STARS.DALI Speakers I have are in Black Gloss and look good with the grill on and real class if you want to leave the grill off.Had purchased the 7 5.1 system as a package with Yamaha Avantage AX-1030 amplifier direct from Creative Audio.Speakers came packed well with Zensor 7, Vokal and Subwoofer in seperate large boxes. Zensor 1 came in one box.Front speakers are tall and have a good presence in sound. Vokal speaker is large and you need to ensure your stand has enough space or is adjustable to accomodate it as it is certainly bigger than the usual centre speaker.Sound quality for music is excellent. Played Transformers 3 - Dark of the Moon by steve Jablonsky, which has great scores with depth like in "lost signal" &" it's our fight". Played a few Bass heavy tracks including "Poem of the chinese Drums" and all the speakers worked in unison with good quality music and the bass overall was good. The subwoofer is good for this price range with 175W output and integrates very well with the speakers with the crossover set at the THX recommended 80Hz. Played "Enya - collection" and the purity of her voice with the soft music and fine bells was a pleasure to listen to as the tweeters showed their strength.Coming to movies watched Jurrasic Park, Avatar and the surround sound was great. The dialogues were crisp and clear from the Vokal speaker even in scenes filled with explosions etc. However the big Thud Moments were not caught as well by the Dali Sub e-f12 and slight muddiness was there with roars and deep impact. Therefore the half star deduction. Of course a more powerful sub is needed for those in "your chest moments" of a movie for the true enthusiasts of deep bass and Dalli sub e-f12 aint enough. However don't be mistaken.... ...for a slightly above entry level home cinema system this packs a punch and surely you will not be disappointed especially if your room is small. Ensure your sub is in a corner facing the shorter of the lengths between the walls in the room or find the optimum spot.Regarding Creative Audio - 5 STARSGood customer service , reliable and highly recommended. Searched around the internet for the best deal for a Zensor 5, 7.1 and Yamaha Avantage AX-1030 and no one else was beating Creative Audio (CA) for this package deal. Lower range model were at least £250 higher at other sites. As they had a shop in Shrewsbury I was happy to place an order for 2K without worry.Got good help and support from John at CA while placing the order in Dec 2013. 5 Boxes well packed with black pallet stretch cling film to prevent water damage or damage of cardboard box. The instruction Manual written up by Creative audio for the Yamaha Amplifier was very helpful step by step guide. A good amount of humour was used in the manual which made it enjoyable during the set-up. The CA manual was way better than the slightly complicated Yamaha manual.2 months later I had a query and called them about the sub woofer and happy they contacted their technician immediately and gave a call back. So overall a very Happy customer. Will be happy to purchase again if needed from Creative Audio.

I was going to buy tbe dali ikon package but after second thought that insted of spending £2500 on those i get the dali zensor 7 speaker package to go with my denon x4000 amp the £1000 i saved i used for the wires that i was going to use on the ikon package. done my research first on the sensor 7 package from what hi fi reviews others. i have to agree with the what hi fi review is spot on, these are not stereo speakers they are known as in laymens terms there not just for music but movies too most stereo speakers cant produce the detail or more infomation needed for digital signal in movies. these can handle stereo and hi def with ease. movies sound amazing detail lot of punch when needed with sub watching a sene in brave where viking thump his hand on the table or something like that lol seen it ages ago but point isi felt that thump on my chest because of the sub with movies so much detail that the denon sends out these can handle easy. but the the most impresive thing in this package is the dali zensor vocal the voice and detail you get is truley stunning trust me the only reason i am not a certifed buyer is because i bought mine from seven oaks in kingston 2 years ago, but thought id see if price has changed in 2 years but there holding there own still. ive added to these with 2 more pairs but of dali zensor 3 so i could get more puch in my back channels i have a 7.1 set up nothing wrong with zensor 1s i just wanted to fine tune the power balance between front and backs. my set up is DALI ZENSOR 7 SPEAKER PACKAGE + 2 more pairs of DALI ZENSOR 3s on 2 pairs of CUSTOM DESIGN FS104 SPEAKER STANDS FILLED WITH INERT FILLER, QED GENISIS SIVER SPIRAL TO ALL MY SPEAKERS QED SIGNATURE SUBWOFFER CABLE, QED SIGNATURE HDMI CABLE FOR MOVIES AND QED REFERANCE FIBRE OPTIC CABLE FOR MUSIC IF IM NOT USING Wifi on my amp..
