I was a bit dubious on spending so much on a veg peeler, but boy was it worth the money. Nice and heavy, ( not too heavy for arthritic hands but makes it very comfortable to handle), peels like a dream. Very, very sharp blade . I would highly recommend.

I am 84 and used this peeler after receiving it today. I am so pleased with this tool. It is high quality and very easy to use. I have arthritic hands and find peeling vegetables difficult. However. using this peeler has made this job so much easier and well worth the price, I expect to use this utensil for many years to come!

Although quite expensive, It is after all just a Peeler, this glides through Peelings like a warm knife through butter. Super super sharp. Suggest, one only Cut away from oneself but superb product. Thank you

No issues with the blade or its ability to move. It’s really nice to hold and use. Yes it’s sharp but that’s the point. Very happy

it's shiny, heavy, very sharp and peels thinner than my old peeler. However as shown in the pic, the blade can rotate 90 degrees which means it snags on the vegetable. If you compare it with my old peeler the blade is more limited in movement, as it should be, so it works properly. I can't be bothered to send it back, I have kind of got used to using it but my old one was easier to use, but after 30 years use it is blunt. After posting this review I received a full (unsolicited) refund from the supplier.

This peeler works so well. Glides over veggies like a dream, even acorn squash. Big improvement over the more traditional style long peelers.

Let's face it, peeling potatoes, carrots, squash, etc. for dinner really isn't very exciting and I would rather be doing something else so I want a peeler that is easy to use and gets the job done quickly. Since I do peel some hard to peel items like squash I need a sturdy, sharp, easy to use and good quality peeler as so many previous ones have broken doing this task. With food allergies in the house, the peeler is going in the dishwasher no matter what the manufacturer recommends so I need a peeler that stands up to vigorous use and dishwasher cleaning. My preference in design is a Y peeler like this one as I find them more ergometric & comfortably designed.Pro's of this peeler:- Sharp. Great peeling ability which is the best I have used. I have only ever come across one other peeler that is as good as this one in over 40 years of cooking and it wasn't dishwasher recommended as it discoloured in the dishwasher due to a copper coating on the handle.- Y shape is comfortable to use.- Dishwasher safe. I have been using this peeler for over 2 weeks now and there isn't any rusting, discolouring, reduced sharpness or any other issues from being dishwasher washed.- Stainless steel Y design is very sturdy and this peeler seems to be able to peel anything I need it to, even tough vegetables like squash.- If you want to buy this as a gift, it comes in a small box that is easily gift wrapped.- There is a 5 year warranty from date of purchase.Cons:- Pricey, but you get what you pay for. I think it is cheaper in the long run to buy this peeler than having to replace several broken, dull peelers.- I have small hands and it would be great if manufacturers designed different sized tools like peelers for different sized hands for maximum comfort. Just an idea.Overall, this is a fantastic peeler and I recommend it.
