Product Description Another outstanding value product manufactured by Tenn Outdoors. Our new Viper Shorts for female cyclists for Spring Summer for this year, are the next step up from our ever popular Ladies 8 Panel Shorts. Still featuring an 8 panel construction for a professional fit, the Viper Shorts have been designed with medium to long distance riding in mind. We are using a brand new superior professional moulded foam pad in a vibrant Orange colour. The new pad is a 3 layer multi density construction, which gives wider and longer coverage in the saddle areas. The depth is an impressive 15 mm at the rear, tapering to a modest 10 mm at the front. The pad features an over-locking stitch construction all the way around the edge to prevent chafing. In other words, the pad edges are sealed flat so there are no harsh edges to rub against your skin. This thoroughly modern and striking design features a subtle Charcoal Grey contrast colour stitch. With safety in mind for low light conditions, we have introduced impressive reflective heat transfers on the rear of both legs, along with our manufacturerâ€TMs logo which will get you noticed. The fabric is the same high quality as our standard Ladies 8 Panel Shorts options, with 20% Spandex to allow the fabric to stretch in four directions in the right areas. These are technically designed for serious cyclists, allowing the shorts more curvature offering the cyclist better performance and comfort. Flat stitched seams again prevent chafing while riding. Silicone leg grippers prevent the garment riding up the leg, while the blend of high density Nylon and Spandex fibres ensure that your muscles are kept insulated, supported and ready for action. Ladies shorts are available in 7 sizes and 1 colour way. Box Contains 1

Far too small if you have a larger waist.
Very disappointed with these shorts; the waist band on these are TINY. I had ordered a size up from my normal size 14 thinking that a 16 would afford a little room given they are compression material. I have rarely seen a ridiculously sized pair of shorts. They are just 11 inches wide! Wish I could post a photo to illustrate their idea of a size 16...They actually fitted well around the hips and legs. However, the elastic, now stretched tight to a width of just 1.5 cms with very little give left, started digging into my sides almost immediately; I didn't last two minutes wearing them before they became really uncomfortable. That was in an upright position. I can't imagine the inevitable pain that would be caused from being in a haunched over position for even half an hour. I wish I was exaggerating.Wanted to like these shorts because of all the positive reviews. Like another reviewer stated, they may be fine if you do have a small waist. I shall be returning them.Edit - I have since bought a great pair of well fitting and very comfortable Endura mesh shorts for just a couple pounds more.

Truly recommend them - though I haven't worn them post wash-cycle yet.
I bought 2 pairs of these and two pairs of some triple their price. These have silicone grip around the legs and whilst inside-out, the padding looks like a baboon's ar5e on heat, they are perfectly acceptable the right way round.I have taken both pairs for significant spins and can say that they are as good (if not, actually better) than the more expensive pair.I have also run in them and didn't feel like I was running with a maternity towel between my legs, so it's all good.

good shorts, but I would seriously recommend getting bib shorts, however silly you feel wearing them at first they are great because they don't fall down! So the chamios pad always stays where it should - therefore no chaffing! Aldi even sell bib shorts that are comfy!

Good product
Bought this for a longish bike ride and wanted comfort. Found these to be more comfortable than other shorts I've purchased. Like the tight feel around the thighs as it supports my legs my cycling. These are a longer pair than other ladies shorts which suited me as I'm a little bit taller than most ladies and normal shorts look at bit dodgy on me. Found that they've washed well so far. Size I'm usually an 8 or 10, so went for the 10 and it's a perfect fit. Remember cycle shorts are supposed to be tightish.Overall very pleased with the product.

Great but order a size up if you are tall!
Really pleased, they really work! However, I'm over 5'10 and the elastic at bottom of legs is tight... Perhaps because they are higher up my leg than some ladies?? I have now ordered the next size up and they are much better :) Would suggest this anyway for comfort and they are VERY snug! Good quality though, would recommend.

Tight on thighs
Fit nicely all round apart from on thighs. The elastic inside the bottom of the shorts cuts terribly. Admittedly I do have muscular thighs and I understand my cycling short designers put the awful inside sticky elastic seem on all shorts, to stop them riding up whilst cycling. But unfortunately this sometimes turns a good pair of shorts, into an uncomfortable pair you leave at the back of your sports wear drawer. Sorry!
