Wahl Afro Hair Straightener, Black

These are sublime!! GHD ain't got nothing on these babies! My hair is worse than afro, I swear. It's thick, coarse, wild, undefined and difficult to tame! My hair seriously has its on regime! I've resorted to buying 20year old GHD originals due to not finding a decent pair on the current market, until I've discovered these beauties 😍 👌 and how cheaply priced they are too?!! They are better than brilliant, they run through smooth as butter and I get that perfect blunt straight look to my fringe just how I like it! I'm buying a second pair... maybe even a third because they are more than affordable! Absolute necessity for rebellious hair that refuses to be tamed - these reply with ... BOW DOWN! 🫡😁😆... honestly can't stress enough how awesome these are!! Round of applause 🙌 👏 👌❤️

These are absolutely fantastic! I’ve been using GHDs for 15 years but I will say these are just as good without the hefty price tag! I have very thick frizzy hair and these are a dream. Temperature settings are also very helpful and make them easy to use, the cord length is very long, my hair is so shiny too, overall great product!

Had the same pair for 4 years before having to repurchase. The straighteners are great quality, heat up quick, last longer than average and for someone with afro like hair, they do a fine job. My hair needs a couple of straightening attempts before it will stay without spray and unfortunately these are no exception to that. However, I don't feel any compare. There is no static build up with these which I found in most well known straighteners. For the price, you have to try them! ♡♡ Update : less than 6 months old and they have the same fault the last ones had after 4 years. Cutting out when hitting temperature. Likely unable to exchange, gutted.

These are fantastic, I usually use cloud nine, but they broke and at the moment I can’t afford to buy more of them because they’re nearly £200. I saw these read the reviews and thought I’d give them a go. I’m not black but I have Afro hair. because I have a tiny bit of black blood in me from years and years and years ago and my family I’m the only one that has our hair and it’s been the vein in my life trying to sort it. The straighteners have properly straightened my hair. I’m really really impressed with the result. I will buy these again if they’re broke. This pic is taken after 2 days without straightening my hair again, it’s been slept on. Rained on and as you can see it’s still straight! Can’t believe it! I usually have to straighten at least twice a day

Best straighteners ever used on my two daughters hair, one being coily Afro hair and one a textured Afro. Also used them at a lower heat than straighteners I’ve paid over £100 for. Buying another pair and also the hot comb

I purchased this item on 10 April 2020 and used it less than an handful of times - by 18 July 2020, it no longer worked. I put it on to warm up, I heard a "pop" sound and it stopped working. The few times that I had used it, it worked well in that it heated up quickly, the temperature display was clear, the dial was simple and it switched itself off after a while, I guess as a safety measure, reassuring but inconvenient. Not sure if I had the temperature at the right setting for the thickness of my hair, as was scared of damaging my hair, I kept the temperature fairly low (no higher than 190) but I wouldn't say I was amazed by the results I got, just disappointed it broke so quickly, after so little use. It's a good thing it wasn't too expensive.

I have fizzy curly hair which is horrible to control even when its curly its fizzy. I carnt fault these for money they are as good as the expensive ghd. I can straighten my hair and waking up on a morning its still straight and smooth. Which is excellent when I usually wake up with a lions matted mane.

Amazing well worth the money better than ghds, i would highly recommend and when you purchase them and do your hair you will never buy any other straightner, i havnt and ive had these for a good few years and they do not disappoint ive brought another pair for my teenager and she loves them to, we have frizzy wavy/ curly hair after using these my hair is soft and salon straight can last for a good few days without redoing.
