A great story, great characters, and overall... a great read!
This graphic novel is a must have for any Batman (and/or Robin) fan. Most of the material within the book is present in the Joker: Death Of the Family graphic novel (A collection of all of the issues involved with the Death of the Family arc), however there are one or two issues which are exclusive to this volume. A great read and seeing as it is one of the Boy wonder's last adventures it's a much more emotional read than I would have thought! Buy it!

A great read
The previous batman and robin series was spectacular and was written by my favourite comic book author: Grant Morrison. The reason I read this was because it tied in to death of the family. I loved this, especially the annual, which really was about character development as well as a crime. Though the death of the family tie in wasn't as good as nightwing's or red robin's, it was still enjoyable. Buy this book today.

which is one of my all time favourite issues of anything
This volume includes the Batman & Robin Annual #1, which is one of my all time favourite issues of anything. Tomasi's run here is, frankly, better than Snyder's Batman

A superlative Batman & Robin run
Peter Tomasi's Batman & Robin run holds up to any other popular Batman run out there. The creative team is consistent throughout. Patrick Gleason's art is twisted and terrific, just as comfortable drawing horrifying monsters or detailed close-ups of brooding faces. If you like darker Batman stories, this should scratch your itch.

False Book in the Kindle edition
According to what I read in the reviews, the Kindle variant and the book variant are different. The stories that are shown here were already in other Batman comics, which I find outrageous and you don't even get to know how Damian died, which is important in the following volume. The reviews that I have read here afterwards are already so old and that still nothing has been changed is just outrageous. Because I think the series is good, I'm very disappointed.

Strip knap itt verpakking.
Knappe stripverhalen verzonden met weer povere verpakking.Dit blijft een probleem dat ongetwijfeld zorgt voor minder bestellingen.Dus AUB betere verpakkingen. (ook de post is medeplichtig vermoed ik).

A story of Damian Wayne
This volume does an excellent job of sorting through what was a very messy event, Death of the Family. Patrick Gleason and Peter Tomasi delivered one of the most visceral and affecting chapters of the event with Damian and the Joker's heart to heart at the zoo. The scene is swimming with reds and blacks, and Gleason uses shadows to masterful effect. These issues lead perfectly into the conclusion to the event, which I personally felt was lacking, but won't hold against this volume, seeing as it is originally from a different series. The two remaining issues are the annual and issue 17. They delve deeper into the psyche of our characters, and looks at what their complex family has become. It is a touching, if not dysfunctional, type of love these characters have for each other, and Tomasi couldn't have written it any better.Nothing has changed from the last two volumes. Tomasi nails the tone of the series, and writes these characters better than anyone out there, while Gleason hits the visuals out of the park every time he puts pen to paper. Batman and Robin continues to be the masterfully written, flawlessly drawn jewel in the crown of DC's many bat series. There isn't really anything left to say other than you should absolutely own this book. An unquestionable buy.

Just like the rest of the series this is a great ...
Just like the rest of the series this is a great continuation of the story. If you have read the first two, then this is definitely worth buying to read more into the story. The art is great and the story keeps the interest up while having a lot of action and exciting plot twists.Overall, I would definitely recommend this book. I don't want to go into the story and perhaps spoil it for someone, but the description given on this page is accurate and pretty complete for a background piece.
