L'Oreal Excellence Age Perfect 7.31 Dark Beige Blonde Hair Dye

I made the classic mistake of bleaching my roots as all hairdressers fully booked. Hairdresser had always bleached and toned hair. For some reason root's okay but had a band of yellow. Tried using silver dye....omg I looked like a little old lady with yellow nicotine streaks. Had to go to Dad's birthday like it, did the walk of shame - gave everyone a laugh though. After reading the reviews I thought hell why not, it could not get any worse. Arrived sooner then expected which was a bonus. Easiest product to apply using application brush. It ensured every strand was covered, especially the brow. I did roots first as instructed but cut time down to 5 minutes before doing rest of hair as it was so porous and left for 15 minutes. Washed off and conditioner made it really smooth. Am so happy with the colour - have a beige Ash blonde hair, no patches - must say it's the best home colour kit I have used. Goodbye old lady look - never again. Thank you to all the reviewers whose tips I took on board. Great value for money definitely

Ordered for a lockdown diy hair colour after reading reviews. I was a little nervous but needn't have been- so easy to use and really pleased with results. Blended my grey and roots in really well and kept highlighted effect. So pleased I'm ordering more in fact..

Pro: So far, so good. Easy to use and colour came out beautifully. Nice variation in tone. At first, I thought it went reddish, but once I blow dried my hair, it settled right down. Be Aware: It came out 2 to 3 shades darker than how it appears on the box. It is a nice colour and suits me, but I was hoping for something blonde-ish; this is brown on me. This is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars. The colour name is: Dark Beige Blonde. Con: I could not find anywhere how to do the Strand Test, so made it up by going to a competitor's website. The L'Oreal website said to look at the leaflet in the box. No Strand test info to be found in or on the box, nor on their website other than to be told to look in the box.

Absolutely mortified that this has been discontinued. Nothing else comes close to the great natural colour of this one.

Great product . i have a subscription order in place but beware if you need to add special delivery instructions as my experience is that these are ignored
