I have struggled from the moment I got this out the box. Was a struggle to open the lid, the metal around cap detached from USB. I was left with a silver USB body and a black USB cap .then trying to charge it. I left it on my laptop for hours with it on. There's no indication it's charging or charged. First sample at home in a silent bedroom it worked. Then I took it to a meeting. Done exactly as instructed got home and it recorded nothing. Again I tested it in the silence of my room, it no longer works. Either I need even clearer instructions or this is just rubbish. If it worked it could be brilliant. No time to return desktop goods to much hassle for a few pound.

I wasn't expecting much from this item, but I'm amazed at the quality of sound it produces, it picks up everything. It looks like a normal USB, apart from a red light as it starts to record (which switches off after a few seconds) there's no way to know that it's anything other than a regular USB. Best used with the free software Audacity, which I'd recommend as compatible with the WAV files this gadget produces. Files are easy to delete or rename, or copy to your hard drive. With Audacity it's very simple to edit, or cut and paste the important bits of your recording into a new audio file. Not sure how reliable this gadget is as I only got it today, but I have high hopes it will help me in class and in meetings.

Device worked fine . I had a small issue with it but the seller customer support was very helpful providing the steps to recover . For me the device it is a good purchase . I recommend it .

I needed a device to help me capture meeting minutes at work as I am a very slow writer and this device has relieved so pressure from me.I'd recommend it to anyone.

Probably not the best there is out there but you still get 8GB of storage.

Only three stars as I cant get this to play back on my computer. It is .WAV which should be ok but windows 10 is saying that it does not support this file or the file may be corrupt!! So so far I can't rate this gadget as it doesn't seem to work.

Well what a waste of money. I've used it three times for my meetings and it only recorded once, after that I can't record anything and it has left me in a very difficult situation at work and left me in a stressful situation. Yes I can still use it as USB stick but that's about it - seriously guys don't bother!!!! IT BREAKS AFTER THE FIRST ATTEMPT I'd give it no stars but you can't publish a review otherwise (yes that bad)
