iDesign 57270 Axis Towel Rack, Small Metal Towel Holder, Over Door Towel Bar, Silver

A slightly curved, polished rail that can take only 1 (folded in half) towel. It is just perfect for my needs. With a low profile that doesn't dig into you when at the sink. The product is very sturdy and fits perfectly my 2cm thick cabinet door and has a padding to protect the door from scratches. If needed this style comes in a longer version by the same brand.

After replacing handles on cupboards my existing towel rail was too big. This is small enough to not collide with the handles. It is well made, looks great and is just perfect.

This is a nice towel rail. Perfect t for over cupboard door in kitchen. Solid fit, doesn’t slip about and because it’s solid it’s very sturdy. If anything it could have done with being an inch longer for towel/tea towel to fit better. Overall though very pleased with it.

This rail fits over the kitchen cupboard door perfectly, looks really good and a very good quality, would certainly recommend

Fits on this kitchen unit door which is handless. Chrome, so fits in with any kitchen style. No sharp edges for kids to bang into. Rubber on the inside of the hook so wont damage door surface and stays in place.

In the kitchen - tea cloths and a small hand towel- where can you have them close to hand? We have a largish piece of kitchen furniture in the middle of our kitchen, but with no obvious place to screw on the usual small towel rail. I tried one of the types which are most usually available (the 'over the door' type) and didn't like the look. Then I found these. The design is much more finished and considered. Part of the piece of furniture contains some wooden boxes/crates with thick slats. These are great for using on these - I bought two of the matt black and put on to two of the crates - one for the tea towel, one for the small hand towel. They fit very firmly and don't wobble. They are compact enough to take a towel folded in half longways. I also purchased the stainless steel version for another kitchen for the tea towel over the cupboard, beneath the sink. SO PLEASED WITH BOTH VERSIONS. I think the price was excellent value, they were delivered the next day with approprate packaging. Very happy to recommend.

It's okay, I just wish it was a little thicker and sturdier.

We used to have a different towel holder that was a little bit longer and didn't have the curved edges that the InterDesign one has, and as a result it was constantly hitting a neighboring cabinet door and scuffing the surface up (our cabinets are at an angle). I purchased the 9" as a replacement and I am very happy with it. First of all, it is very sturdy and nicely made. The holder parts that touch the cabinet are fully lined with padding (the old one had just two small dots) and fit perfectly over our cabinet door. The old holder needed some modifications to keep from slipping, but this one stays securely in place. Best of all, between the 9" size, the slight curve and the rounded edges this has completely eliminated the issue that we had with the old holder damaging the neighboring cabinet door. We do have to keep it slightly off-center for that to happen, but it's a small price to pay compared with having to replace a cabinet door a couple of years down the line! The only con I can think of is that due to the curve towels are a little more prone to slip off a bit - they don't fall off, but they do start to hang a little bit crooked if you open the cabinet a lot. If you are OCD about the way your towel hangs, you might want to choose a straight model like the InterDesign Marcel Over-the-Cabinet Kitchen Dish Towel Bar Holder - Bronze .
