John Wetton Up Close
The film is not of the highest resolution, nor the sound pitch perfect, but that makes the concert feel all the more 'real' and even if I've never been to the quite remarkable venue, I felt as though I were there. I have to admit to a less than objective eye, as over the last 10 years or so, I became very friendly with John Wetton and like many, was shocked by his untimely death. As I watched and listened to the songs, especially those from the Icon project, I recalled all the many intense discussions we had had over plenty of coffee somewhere in Bournemouth, as he thoughtfully took the time to explain how Icon had come to fruition and the thinking behind many of the songs, and the departure from Asia material. In the concert. I noticed the intriguing way he would engage with the specific members of the audience from time-to-time, his face a very effective means of communication. I noticed this at Asia concerts I attended and when I would meet him. Not only does the concert showcase his wonderful voice and immense song writing talents, we also witness moments of outstanding bass playing and his warmth as a person. Of course the show is not just abut John Wetton, with the other members of Icon all vital and integral members of what was a very refreshing experiment; however many times I watch Geoff Downes play the keyboards, I'll never fathom how he does it. Looking back now, of course I sincerely regret not trying to get a ticket (although I was to see Asia play at Kilburn not long after) but this set and especially the DVD is a fine way to experience John Wetton close up and to enjoy what a remarkable musician and humble person he was.

An absolute Joy!
An absolute joy to listen (and watch)John Wetton simply at his very best, a wonderful choice of material covering John and Geoff Downes respective bands and also tremendous support from the lovely Anne-Marie Helder, who I have seen many times with either Mostly Autumn and Panic RoomIn the End brings me to tears, so beautifully delivered by John and Anne-Marie and how Geoff remembers which keyboard does what is totally beyond me!

Great set
Great music. Many reviewers have said the video quality is not great but I don’t see a problem with it (I have an older Sharp flat screen TV, perhaps newer TVs show the picture limitations). One question. The audience cheering and applause - as recorded or has it been added? I’m not too sure. Discuss.

A Truly Fantastic Purchase
I've been a big fan of Geoff Downes (keyboard wizard from the Buggles, Asia etc, etc). Anyway, I recently had a very late Saturday night browsing music video/ music tech on YouTube and stumbled upon a video of a gig that John Wetton and Geoff Downes had been involved in at St Mary Le Bow Church in London. I was totally blown away by the music and the abundance of talented musicians therein. John Wetton has a stunning singing voice as has Anne-Marie Helder (wow). 1 DVD and 2 CD's in quality packaging (Sleeves). This is seriously, a very worthy investment. You will not be disappointed. Buy now!

Amazing and unusual musical experience.
As someone who has only just come across Icon - although I am very familiar with John Wetton's solo material and have loved Asia since their initial inception- I was thrilled to hear and see this unique concert. Ironically I was in London that night at a West End theatre show. Little did I realise what magic was being created nearby! What a privilege to experience! Sadly it only reinforces what a great talent has been lost with the untimely demise of John Wetton in January 2017.

Another Wetton-Downes masterpiece
What else would I buy a Cd & DVD for other to listen to and watch. Seems like a daft question.
