Zinsser ZINACEBK1L All Coat Exterior Satin, Black - 1 Litre

Absolutely brilliant paint, used white on our garage door, been on over a year and still.as white as the day we painted it..wipe clean easily too. Got the black to paint our wrought iron gates and railings, easy to put on and only needed one coat to cover old hammerite paint and rust.. Looks brilliant and goes a long way too, neighbours commented on how lovely it looks. Will definitely buy again for other outdoor projects. It was £30 in B&Q so ordered from Amazon with free delivery, such a bargain price and came well packaged and quick.

Good quality paint and was easy to apply. Seems good coverage. Water based so easy to wash brushes afterwards. Winner.

Paint is great, but packaging is terrible! The lid was held on with tape!!

Painting outside of large house. Really good coverage on timber and flashings . Had a cast iron rainwater pipe which I will replace next year but gave it a quick coat to smarten it up and was surprised at how good it now looks. Far better than gloss black paint which I previously used and peeled after a year. I also painted slate tiles on my bay windows and they look so good my neighbor did the same.

What an outstanding paint, gel-like texture means drip free and easy to apply, one hour recoat time, amazing. Has transformed my exterior window maintenance, making it easy to start and finish a job in half a day when the rain holds off. Big thumbs up from me.

I’ve been using the zinsser bulls eye primer for a few years it’s a great primer, this is my first time using the zinsser all coat so I imagined it would be as good as the bulls eye , I purchased the all coat in black and as instructed I used it as the prime coat also. I painted an oak upvc window,, I gave it 1 coat which acted as the primer and then a top coat and boy what a result, on the external side of the window I applied a third thin coat to help with the longevity of the finish due to our inclement weather in winter and it’ helps also against the UV rays in the summer, It goes on so smooth and easy but ensure you give the tin a rigorous stir before applying each coat, my window looks like a new black upvc window so chuffed with the outcome , note as with all painting the preparation is key , I first of all washed the window frames etc with warm soapy water then rinsed of with clean warm water, let that fully dry before giving the upvc a light sand with a 240 grit sand paper , wipe any dust of with a damp cloth and your ready to paint. Finally the zinsser paints are generally more expensive but it’s worth it.

A high quality paint that self primes. I would recommend it. Paints white pvc plastic doors brilliantly well. I am very pleased.
