ChiccoNext2Stars Baby Night Light, Pink | Star Light Projector for Cots and Cribs, Sound Sensor, 3 Light Effects and Music

Used this product for just over a month when the batteries died (used multiple times a day when we started putting my daughter in her cot instead of moses basket). Thought it was fantastic value for money, very bright and loved the colour changing stars which lit up her nursery. Peaceful melodies which soothed her to sleep and various settings if the songs get a bit too much over the monitor. I had an issue with it not working after i changed the batteries. I noticed that there were lots of questions querying the same issue. I changed the batteries again and it came on for 1-2 seconds and then turned off, I tried playing with the actual battery pack and assumed it was a circuit fault HOWEVER... I read all of the instruction booklet (hey, its lockdown!) And read that DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. Now, I only have rechargeable batteries so bought some cheap tesco own brand batteries which were single use and tried them and it worked absolutely fine and is still going strong 3 months into using it. I dont expect the batteries to last very long but I'm glad I solved the issue. Would highly recommend this product and keep the instruction booklet for torubleshooting because i didnt find CHICCO very helpful, and that's if you can actually find the correct email address.

Ordered this for my baby, week later was returning it as stopped working. Received a replacement, also returned as the same happened. Being a Chicco product, I wasn't expecting this product to be so poorly made. Looks very cheap, cheap plastic and too simple. I bought this thinking it would be great for when my baby wakes up in the night crying, but it kept being triggered by ANY kind of noise even small ones. Would not recommend.

I bought this in the hope of aiding our bedtime routine and avoid needing to turn a light on in order to feed my 2 month old. One month on and I’m not disappointed.My daughter loves the musical melodies; several different melodies play whilst it is switched on. Also, she loves the stars which are projected onto the ceiling. The stars are static so if you want something more this isn’t for you. As for me, it’s meets our requirements. There are three light settings; we use the brightest light (first, automatic brightness) to begin feeding- I find it bright enough to secure a proper latch. You can then press the light button to dim it slightly. Once baby is almost completely asleep I press the button again and only the moon shaped button is lit.It is also possible to use the light and music independently of one another. If baby cries (even when away from it having her nappy changed!) the light and music come on automatically. The music and/or light stay on for a set time and go off automatically, unless manually switched off.I delayed my review as I’d read criticisms of batteries being used up quickly. After one months use of 3+ hours a night, the batteries now need replacing. Given the benefit to our bedtime routine and how it aids me during our nightly feeds (without waking baby like a bedside lamp does) 3 batteries a month is nothing. I wouldn’t be without this product. It is a perfect compliment to out next2me crib. It will definitely continue to be used as a stand-alone nightlight once our baby moves into her cot.

I have used it for 8 days, and it no longer works. I have changed the batteries in it, and it still doesn’t work, I have turned it off and on again and it still doesn’t work. Not worth the money at all, such a shame as if it worked it would be very good

Bought this for my 2 month old daughter. Put brand new batteries and it worked but didn’t last even 30 mins. The music then stopped and the light stayed on. Changed the batteries to see if it was that but still didn’t play anything. Wouldn’t waste your money. It was good while it lasted. The brightness and the stars projected was really sweet but that’s about it

Bought this for my friend's baby-shower and it went down a treat. This is a lovely projector with lots of functions and beautiful presentation (lovely little bear). It has:1) night light (you can control the brightness)2) star projector3) lullabies - you can control volume and tunesIt has clear instructions for operating and seems very easy to operate, and attach to a crib. The media could not be loaded. Great star projector. Music is peaceful and calming, the light's changing colours. Not leaving it all night tho so batteries last longer. Highly recommend.
