The quality of manufacture seems very good with the printing clear concise and seemingly robust. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the small number of knots included and some of the illustrations are a little confusing. Good as an "aid memoire" to remind you how to form a knot but not necessarily the best way to learn it from a standing start.

Handy to have if it's been a while since tying these knots.

A very handy set of instructions to tie 20 different knots which are all good to know when out camping or pack packing. You can either learn each one by heart or just pop this into a handy pocket or pouch ready for when you need it. The instructions are printed on "credit cards" sized plastic so are waterproof and are easy to read and follow. All the cards are secured together by a ring rivet which allows easy attachment to a lanyard if required.This is perfect for the beginner or just because you don't want to memorise and practice 20 different knots.

Does what it says on tin. Might be some discrepancy between us and UK knot names, but that's nothing. Even includes what to use knots on and what knot to (pun intended). Pocket sized, wipe clean and sturdy.

I took a punt on this because it attempts to address the practicality of a small, pocket-sized and weather-proof aide-memoire for tying knots in the field. In my view it only partially succeeds.There are six double-sided credit card sized plastic leaves covering 20 useful knots. But this means many cards have two knot illustrations on each side. Given the limited space I find a small number of the illustrations quite difficult to follow. £5.99 also seems pretty over priced for six small pieces of printed plastic. I know these things have a fairly niche market which can push the price up.
