Using this as a cat kennel for a large cat who won't use cat flaps. Too early to say if she'll use it, but fits the bill as a refuge when the weather gets bad - the left hand side is protected from wind and rain by the right-hand "entrance". Good instructions, with all the screws attached to a sheet identifying them by the references in the instructions. Unpack and identify all the parts before assembling, the panels on one side are smaller than the other, but once you have done this, assembly is easy and everything was accurately pre-drilled. Wood is well-treated, so don't be surprised if your pet is put off by the wood smell, it will reduce within days.

The given measurements of the item are correct, but the photo with a labrador is NOT this size (large). There is clearly an XL size, and THAT is the one the labrador is sitting in front of, so don't be misled.Luckily we intended it for a cat, so whilst we are disappointed with the size, the large size is (just about) okay for a large cat.The product is really well designed and as such is one of the easiest-to-put-together items of this type that I've bought in a while. The instructions only have 4 steps, which is a mark of how much thought and effort was put in to the design stage, i.e. they did the hard work at that stage, so you don't have much though/effort required for the construction stage.

This is a very sturdy kennel and very easy to assemble...but no way is it “large”! We have a 4 month old cocker spaniel and he couldn’t fit in the enclosed part, I had to take the roof back off and remove the partition... another couple of months and he will have outgrown it. Heads up if your dog likes to chew like ours does... the wood doesn’t last long but that’s not the manufacturer’s fault.

Disappointed is an understatement! Bought as a gift from my Parents and thought this would be perfect for our new Lab to grow into (as shown in the pictures advertising the product). It is barely big enough for her now at 12 weeks old!!! Yes I should have checked the actual measurements but how can sellers get away with advertising false pictures for a product that are totally misleading!

Easy to put up, we treated it with an extra wood treatment paint prior to use. Big enough to fit in a medium size dog I would say (we have a Labrador). Seems good quality.

Wood not super thickness not sure it will last the weather long. Also arrived with top bit end broken but did not affect fit. Looks cute and love the idea of a seperate bit for food.

In my opinion the title of "large" kennel with a labrador sitting outside is inaccurate. A labrador could get in at a squeeze but it would not be comfortable. The colour in the photo is also inaccurate as the colour is a very bright brown/orange! The kennel has a good solid roof but the rest of it is flimsy. Overpriced and dissappointing.
