Purchased these for another purpose so I cannot comment on their use inside a cap gun. What I can say is when striking an individual cap they do produce the same bang I remember 20+ years ago. After assembling my ‘penny bomb’ and launching it at the neighbours wall, I can definitely say these are exactly what I was looking for/ expecting. Louder than a gunshot hands down. The price being the only let down here.

I was surprised to find that these are still in production. I thought demand had died out long ago. As a toy collector these noisy strips have brought many an old toy of mine back to life. The quality is of a high standard and there are few misfires.

What a load of rubbish. Caps used to be quite loud. I suppose the PC brigade have got involved and made them quieter - aka pointless. Save your money, you’re better just shouting ‘bang’.

These are fine but they are not what they used to be in the 90s. I bought them to throw in a bonfire and they didn't dance around and make loud bangs like they used to.

Fit for purpose

makes the grandkids laugh but not the bank I remember as a kid.

These caps just fitted the bill. My grandson could play pirates with my ancient replica pistol.
