I like these.Thought they looked pretty & elegant. They have a nice feel to them in your hand & the bristles are soft on your face. The handle is quite flexible so they kind of bounce on your skin as you use them. The larger ones do feel as though they could snap though as they are a bit flimsy in the handle. Have strood up to use so far & have also travelled on holiday with me in my luggage. Cleaning them with a brush cleaner from Borgois & they have been fine. Give a lovely finish when using foundation & powder. Great for blending & applying cream shader & highlight. Look so pretty on my dresser in their round perspex stand.

I was very sceptical when I saw these for this much money. Knowing they were cheap versions of the normal brushes I still purchased them being optimistic to whether I had wasted my money. They were under £2 a brush so my expectations were low. These brushes arrived so quickly and they're so so soft! I think they are the cheapest makeup brushes I own but their quality is amazing. The handles themselves are fairly weak so you have to use your hand to support them but other than that they are amazing!

These brushes are so lovely. Comfortable to hold until you use them. I found, only when applying my foundation, the brush handle is a bit too bendy for me personally.That's the one down side. Brush hairs are so so so soft. I do love the brushes, didn't find any of the other brushes bendy really, just a bit awkward that the handle on the foundation brush is a bit TOO bendy. I only say as I would've have liked to have known when I reviewed before buying. Also, might just be the foundation I use (liquid) but after only 3 uses the brush looks like its been used more. Holds formula a bit too much for my liking.

First the delivery was on time and nothing was broken which is a good start.Foundation is something that I hate to put on, but these brushes made it so easy. It blend so well and even. The brushes are soft and it doesn't absorb any makeup. i showed them to few of my work colleagues and all them ask for the link for the brushes so there can buy them self it. Also perfect for Christmas in a few months for anyone who love there makeup😊

review from girlfriend,I wanted a full set of brushes like the Artis Set but in gold and I found this. All of the brushes are exactly as advertised. The head is fully flexible so each brush can easily bend, to reach those difficult areas (nose and back of neck). The bristles are so soft and they apply make up well to the skin. I have tried both liquid and powder foundation but the results were still the same. This is also the first set of brushes which I have brought which have not shed and I feel that speaks for the quality of the brushes. I'm uncertain as to whether the brushes are made from real hair or not, they are soft enough to be and they apply make-up so well to the skin, just like brushes made from real animal hair. The delivery may take long to deliver if it's international but the wait it worth it.

My daughter was over the moon with theses, except one broke on 1st use from the neck so unable to use it!

I was so looking forward to this item as my 13 year old daughter had hinted endlessly about how gorgeous they looked and how she couldn't wait to try them . On arrival I was instantly disappointed , the package was bashed . Not ideal for something you wish to gift to someone . Having said that I contacted the seller and they refunded my account £2 . After my daughter opened them and tried to use them one of them snapped straight away . I contacted the seller again with a photo and have yet to receive a reply . This was over 3 weeks ago . A week later another one broke and yet again I contacted the seller and yet again I am still waiting for a reply . Not an expensive item I might add but when you buy a gift you expect it to be the best for that person . Very disappointed in the after service .

On arrival i was really pleased with these brushes. The heads are good quality and gave a lovely finish when I used either liquids/creams or powders. They looked nice and for the first 2 weeks I was very happy. Unfortunately they have not proven to last long with 3 breaking all in the same place ( on the neck) within days of each other. I am not particularly heavy handed and the neck is very flexible and I think that's where the weakness in manufacture obviously lies. I havent asked for a replacement mainly because I think that the issue is in the actual designa nd manufacture rather than a rogue set of brushes- a real pity as the brush heads as lovely.

At this point in my my life I have other financial responsibilities so I can't drop $500+ on The original Artis oval makeup brushes. I have to say these come into a close second place. There was the odd long hair on the brush that I just trimmed down beside that the brushes are super soft. When using them i get a flawless finish under my eyes with concealer & foundation all over my face. I've only used an airbrush formula foundation with these brushes so far. I would repurchase if I needed to.Oh... The handles for the largest brushes feel a little fragile so I hold onto the oval back of the brush which doesn't bother me. They do what they are supposed to do. 😃😃😃😃😃*Update**May 5, 2017*** 😃💄💄💄💄Since my first part of my review I've tried regular liquid foundation, liquid foundation mixed with Cover FX Rose Gold highlighter drops, cushion foundation & Tarte Clay foundation and I can honestly say that I'm very impressed with these brushes.

Brushes work well but my problem is with the cleaning - after I gently cleaned on one the brushes I gently squeeze out the excess water - as I do with all my brushes - and the bristles all together detached from the handle - they are all glued together and came right off - very disconcerting. Would not repurchase.

Very good brushes the quality was good but the handle was a little bit to thin so when i would put on makeup with these brushes the handle moves. I don't really know how to explain it it like folds and i don't really like that. But other than that very good brushes.

Very pleased! Nice brushes - dense and soft and only slightly different that the Artiste brushes (quality is lower, but for a fraction of the price - I didn't care).Shipping wasn't super quick, but wasn't slow either (I think it was two weeks - just as I thought, "Shouldn't those brushes be here by now?" - a couple of days later, the brushes arrived. Well worth the wait!!!YouTube offers lots of instructional videos on how to use the brushes because they do take some getting used to. I use one daily for foundation and I would be willing to buy the whole set for that brush alone, but the rest are great too.Well worth the price!!!

They are a little too orange and look more copper than rose gold. They are a tad flimsir at the neck than the less expensive black set, so these feel a little fragile, especially the extra large head brush. The hairs are amazingly soft and so densely packed ghat product will not get deep into your bristles which is awesome. You don't want your brush to drink up product, wasting you money!For the price, I'd actually say it's a great deal, especially for novice makeup artists or people that need to use them very often. My favorite 2 brushes of them all is the the 3rd and 4th largest brushes. They are amazing for contour and color correction and buffing the foundation to an airbrush finish. The largest one I use instead of a sponge for baking, just spritz with a setting spray, pick up powder and swipe along the lower lid cheekbone area to set concealer and along the mandible up to the outer chin. I also like the tiny round brushes for putting on my lip creams and even lipstick so I don't contaminate them.
