Keep Your Lid On
I bought this as I want to try brining chicken and it is the ideal size. When I got it the lid appeared to be not fitting properly and despite my best efforts I couldn't get it fully on . I noticed several marks on the lid at opposing corners and guessed they should be fitted at two corners of the box which had cut away sections but I still couldnt get the lid to fit.....then I had a brainwave. I sat the lid in the sink in very hot water for a few minutes and Hey Caramba it fitted quite easily so if you're struggling try that.

10 Litre Addis Strong Enough Hold 4x 1.5kg Bread Flour
This Addis 10 Litre Container holds an incredible amount of unopened or opened flour. Previously, I have spent large amounts of money buying many Lock&Lock containers for the same purpose as this Addis container but they only held 3x 1.5kg of flour but at almost 2.5 the cost. This is the third 10L Addis container that I have bought, with a fairly substantial increase in cost, but it is still a better value for money than their competitors. The durability and strength of Addis containers is impressive as I am using one of them to hold very heavy objects with no sign of stress after more than 2 years. Will buy another 10 litre Addis container and have recommended them to friends and relatives. Thank you, SJB

Always Addis forget the rest
There the best always have been along with the old Tupperware. Can't comment on new Tupperware I buy Addis there days, there the best.....did mention that? Addis will outlast the cheaper box's that easily crack after dishwasher treatment because the plastics thicker plus the seals are tighter...am I an Addis rep...nah I've just used plastic tubs since the 70s. They seal well , having said that older folk may struggle. Depends on whether a fresher rich tea biscuit is worth the struggle....see tyre levers bike section.

Does what it is supposed to do,
We reordered this product because we had one for many many years. When it finally gave in we reordered a new one but it disappointed immensely when the top failed in just a few months. This time we will be monitoring its usage and progress very carefully in anticipation of a trouble free product. Hopeful that the old saying "They don`t make things like they used to" doesn`t hold up.

So worth the money
Perfect for the Chocochino and Cortado pods to go in and enough room to shake them about to mix them up which is exactly what I wanted. There's a very strong smell of plastic as soon as you open the lid, so if you're using it for anything fresh that isn't factory sealed for freshness (home made cakes, sandwiches etc) then you'll definitely need to give it a long soak in water to get rid of the smell first, so that the food isn't overpowered by the smell, but if you're using it, like I am, for factory sealed food or drinks then it's good to go as soon as you open the box!At the price I paid it for it, it's well worth the smell though and it's the exact size I wanted, so it's getting full marks from me!

Good size but smelly
It's a nice large size. It feels sturdy. The lid does not fit well, it seems it has to go on a certain way round and is a bit fiddly. The worst part is the smell. It let off a very strong chemical smell when first opened. Gave it a wash and the smell reduced slightly but was still present. Am hoping that, given time, it will disappear. Due to this I would say it's only suitable to store sealed packages in, and no good for anything that has been opened or home baked as I'm sure the smell would contaminate the food.

Poor technical design - lid does not close well
Usually I buy this kind of box having in mind that the lid will hold some time and actually fit the box, making closing and opening easy. Not this one - lid hardly fits the box and I am having difficulties closing the box every time I decide to use it.Poor design. Would not recommend.
