A+! Product to Eliminate Honda Civic Si Custom Exhaust DRONE!
A+ Product! As experts will tell you, multiple density materials (eg: closed cell foam, MLV, CLV) need to be layered in order to squelch exhaust drone and low frequency sounds in your car. After two months of utilizing various methods and materials, and trying to quiet my Honda Civic Si exhaust sounds within my car, the Luxury Liner Pro was the final nail in the coffin! A wee bit of Dynamat Extreme base layer against the open sheet metal, followed by cheap closed cell foam, and then this Liner Luxury Pro has ELIMINATED the formerly substantial sound! No doubt this job can be done for half the price using cheaper materials, like house-grade mass loaded vinyl (MLV) which is 80% cheaper than Luxury Liner Pro, and other Dynamat-like materials that are asphalt-based, but for me the sound is GONE and PEACE has returned to my daily drives! (and believe it or not, my Full Race exhaust and downpipe are not all that loud outside of the car, but for structural reasons, resonates terribly within my car's cabin).Recommendation for other weekend car mod warriors: place 2 or 3 layers of various materials in your ENTIRE trunk area, including spare wheel well plus side metal / fender panels, and under your rear set, and you will be delighted with the outcome! (The cabin floor is just icing on the cake, but more headache than it's probably worth). This treatment for my car weighs 40 pounds (not a lite date!). Regardless, Happy Modding!

which completely made it useless. Unless you have a LARGE gap between the ...
I can't rate this well because it will be absolutely worthless in most cars. I had to trim down about 40-50% of the surface area just to get it to fit in my door, which completely made it useless. Unless you have a LARGE gap between the plastic and metal interior of your door, there is absolutely no way this will ever fit as one solid piece.

It's still loud but nothing like it was
Purchased for a 2013 Evo X GSR with a Tomei widemouth DP, Tomei open test pipe, Tomei full cat back 3" pipe from the exhaust manifold back to a 4.5 inch single outlet. Basically straight piped.Car became painfully loud to drive at high boost and only 5 speed. Used this MLV to cover the entire area behind the back seat into the truck and a single sheet to cover the entire rear deck below rear windshield, paied with Noico resonance dampening material through out the rear truck, quarter panels, and under the rear seats. Noise dropped significantly! I was actually REALLY impressed with it. It's still loud but nothing like it was, a buddy got in and stopped mid conversation on the free way and said.. Wait?! This IS more quiet! Don't expect it to be mindblowing, but I was DEFINITELY impressed and I would recommend this as a solution for $100 (paired with resonant dampening material) and some work to install.

Melted in place
We installed this product as per instructions and it caught fire as we were driving down the highway. We stopped at a gas station and had to scrape off the smoking, dripping, charred material with a stick. Definitely did not work for us :(

met all my expectations, very hardy stuff.

save your money
Basically, this product is $80 for a panel of closed cell foam. The manufacturers are charging a premium because it is marketed for automobiles, and car people are willing to pay a lot. You can go to EBAY and buy closed cell foam for 20 bucks. Don't get ripped off here.

Great MLV and CCF Combo Product
I used 2 layers of this stuff along with some Focal BAM to dampen the road noise in my car.My tests show a 10-20 dB reduction in road noise while on a smooth highway at 70 mph.I'm very pleased. Highly recommend.
