It’s fairly soft, but this faux material mimics a fur type that wouldn’t be super soft anyway. The quality is actually as good as it gets for a $60 fur blanket! My big concern was about how this was hold up in the wash, but I am pleasantly surprised! These pictures were taken before and after washing and there is no change in texture or softness. Just follow the care directions carefully: don’t over-dry it! I pulled mine out of the dryer at the last minute and let it finish air drying. My dog loves curling up on this blanket, and it looks so cute draped over the end of my bed. Pretty warm, but mostly for my dog to sleep on.

I love this. It’s terrible and beautiful. I just saw this when I went to my daughter’s house. I asked her where she got it so I could get one too. I bought one for my other daughter and my daughter-in-law. They’re so cozy. It’s the first thing people go for when they come to visit.

The look is exactly what I was going for. Wanted a nice and elegant throw blanket for my sofa. Super soft. Just be careful with washing and make sure to air dry or dry on a cool setting because it will ruin it.

Great value, SUPER silky smooth furry feeling, looks amazing, feels like you are petting a real and healthy animal-reminds me of a Husky dog I had. Girlfriend loves it. So far its not shedding. Nice white microfiber feeling fabric on the inside. Bought as both a decorative layer on my bed and partially for warmth.

This blanket is great and when I first un-boxed it I was so happy. The faux fur is incredibly soft and realistic like in the first photo. The tag itself says it's safe to wash and dry gently, so I did that. It washed great! But I tumble dried it on low like the tag says and it didn't come out right. Some spots of the blanket were still damp, while other spots the fur became tangled and crinkly. Since parts of the blanket were still damp I dont think I over dried it at all. Even after gently brushing out those areas they were no longer soft. In those spots the blanket lost it's realistic fur feel. I am returning and getting a replacement because I don't think the tag is accurate on the drying instructions. In the future, I will wash but NOT tumble dry. I will only let it air dry and gently brush it out.

This blanket sat in my cart for a year before I purchased it. Had I known how comfortable, soft and luxurious it was I would've purchased it a long time ago.
