I bought this weeding tool particularly to tackle a few raised beds I've put in this year.Absolutely top notch build quality here. The handle is firm/solid in the hand and the blade is brilliantly designed to cut through topsoil - compost - weeds with a dragging action.Love this garden tool. Definitely a keeper!Update 27th May - I'm finding that this is never out my hand in the garden now! I seem to be using it for anything soil related. I've uploaded another pic of a 4x4 bed I've put in for my pak choi. This tool weeded the dirt to perfection. Love it!

I had been looking for this type of tool as a 'can be used when kneeling' to weed up close - as I have a long handled version of the same inherited from my mother-in-law. My children say it looks like something from a horror film! It is an excellent tool for weeding up close, very sharp (be careful where you set it down) and very very effective. It will be my 'go-to' gift for my fellow gardening friends!

Great hoeing tool around plants in border. Easy to pull and push, and the sharp end can help with digging out weeds. So much quicker and efficient than hand weeding in border. Great price than other similar garden tools. As a gardener I certainly would recommend it to anyone who does lots of weeding in border.

Kent & Stowe do somethings really well; others are mediocre. This falls in the latter catagory. It's an absolutely superb design but is fundamentally flawed, it's not sharp enough! I have a hand forged Japanese version from niwaki and it is one of the very best tools I own, if not THE best! I got this version to leave in the allotment shed and it just doesn't compare. Will try and sharpen myself but it's not even close off the shelf. Come on Kent & Stowe, you can do better! All your different hoes need a better edge!

So far so good, did a massive amount of heavy weeding and it stood up to the job really well, very pleased with purchase.

With out a doubt, this is absolutely the handiest hand held garden tool I've ever used. Ever! And I've been gardening for 30 years. If you garden close to the earth you must have this hand razor hoe. You will be delighted with what you will be able to do, comfortably with minimal effort. This particular hand held razor hoe is one of high quality stainless steel, made in England & carries a 15 year guarantee. Might sound bit bizarre but I'm smitten with this tool because it has made certain garden activities so fast & easy. I got one for my older fussy, cranky brother & he likes it. Wow!
