What can I say about this that hadn't already been said. Contains everything I look for in a TV show, drama, upset, surprise, love and characters that are easy to love. Grant Gustin is by far the best person they could have cast as Barry Allen, despite his different appearance from the comics he nails the part.

AGAIN FUN, DESPITE GRIM ASPECTS
How greatly Barry Allen regrets going back through time! Saving his mother from murder has been a disaster - current timeline altered, others created running almost parallel. Enter new monsters, the most formidable Savitar - he now on course to destroy one Barry holds most dear. Can this be averted? It seems not, many episodes devoted to Barry's attempts to try.Despite such a dark central theme, the series remains one of Marvel's lighter offerings - special effects, as always, dominant. Likeable chararacters often generate fun and warmth less evident elsewhere. Subplots range from gorilla warfare to a musical! (The chance to see Barry singing and dancing should not surprise, Grant Gustin was in "Glee" after all.) Adding interest is new cast member Julian played by Tom Felton (Hogwarts' Malfoy).Although so much was enjoyed, there are reservations. Probably in a minority of one, I found Tom Cavanagh's latest variation of Harrison Wells irritatingly flippant (all that mention of coffee causing speculation if the show sponsored). That crossover episode also seems ill-advised - a confusing clutter of Marvel characters, none shown to advantage. Fans have to go elsewhere (paying of course) to see how that particular adventure pans out.Twenty three episodes. Interesting bonuses. Especially good is one about the music (far better integrated than in some other shows). The Comic-Con section proves more enjoyable than certain ones elsewhere. Another bonus interestingly explores the whole concept of time travel. Conclusion? If indeed ever possible, it is more likely to be into the future not the past. The latter would create too many problems - as Barry finds out.Despite dodgy aspects, most fans still have many reasons to be pleased.
