Tough relatively easy to use roof bag.I needed an occasional use extra load capacity soft top bag to take on holiday.It comes in its own carry bag for ease of storage, nice touch. With the bag it comes with easy to use picture instructions, clamps, plates, tiny sprung washers and screws. The bag has pre-punched reinforced holes to aid fitment to roof bars.The bag has reinforced ribs in the textile of the base.Fitting; you need two people to fit and an old blanket to cover the roof of your car if you're concerned about scratched paintwork.TBH it was a bit of a faff and fiddly but easily fitted. I had to stand on rear tyres to reach, but one could use step ladders. The u shaped clamps are long, and can be cut to a more reasonable size, the bag also came with small rubber caps to cover exposed clamp screws. I didn't put anything inside the bag that could be ripped/punctured by said long clamps.Once on and items stowed, the lid shut snuggly with a tough zip either side that met in the middle. There was a string and 'D' loop adjuster on top of lid to snug the fit even further. Nice touch. This came in handy when the the bag was empty and driving around with a flattened bag was handy for height restricted car parks.It isn't waterproof. One could coat with fabsil waterproofer. Ensure items stowed are adequately waterproofed. I've only used once and it was good and held four camping chairs, a 70 litre waterproof kayak bag with camping items and a sleeping bag.One would anecdotally guess that the Sun's UV rays may degrade the bag and the D loops -All in all I was impressed with the functionality and storage capacity. It will be tested again August 2016 on a trip to Cornwall.

I spoke to the company a couple of times pre-ordering and found them very helpful.The bag turned up quickly once I had placed the order. We got this bag as we were driving to Spain, but using the autotrain in France to make the travel a little less painful (2 young girls on a long drive!!). As they will not allow top boxes on the train we went for this with the idea that we could easily unpack and take off the bag and get it all in the car without much hassle. It worked brilliantly. The bag holds a surprising amount (which was good), is easy to put on and off and folds away to take up not much space.For us this bag was great, a real find.I would recommend it for anyone who doesn't have loads of storage space when it's not in use but also as an alternative to the normal hard top boxes.

Great when full and carrying stuff. But suggest removal when empty as move and vibrate. Also, all the metal fixings have rusted already, after a week of use.

Bag overall did it's job on a family holiday. But one of the supplied clamps was slightly defective...The threads did not work smoothly.Don't know how long it will last. As my school reports said every year.."could be better" but very good attempt overall.
