Very useful stuff
This really does work quite well. The blender eases the mixing of the pastels allowing the pigments to really come together.I only have the three primaries plus black and white and while before the blender arrived I was able to get quite a selection of colours now I am able to get so many more. I have created a landscape with quite convincing colours just by using the blender and my limited palette. It does very slightly dull the vibrancy but not much more than blending does anyway. You only need a little to blend quite a lot of colour.I haven't tried it with my stick pastels yet but I tried blending pastel pencils and that certainly works. Not entirely necessary, but such a useful tool if you have it.

Excellent pastel blender
I love this blender it's easy to use, very soft, does not affect the colour it just softens it all into one, I also use it over the top of glue to take away tackiness, well worth the money as it will go very far,

Still finding out how this can be used
The idea looks very good, and I need to play with it more.

Awesome works like a charm
Very easy to use I've only tested this so far but it was brilliant I made a background for a pencil drawing of dark and light blues with some white and purple touches its supposed to be the deep ocean as I'm drawing a bait ballI've used pan pastels for backgrounds before they are great for large areas but the blender really worked I have a sneeky suspicion that it is the same kind of thing as powder pencil blend it seems to work the same but being a pan its much easier

Love pan pastels
I know there costly however you get an awful lot of pastel for your money. You can use applicators however I use soft brushes Until you’ve tried them you don’t know how lovely they are

Very useful!
I have used this when working with pan pastels when I want to use one colour over another without loosing there true colours. A good example is if I want to use white over another colour without the white blending into the that colour and making it paler and a bit chalky.
