The reason I have marked this as a 1 star is because it's honestly a waste of £18.Let's just quickly review what I got from the description.Fantastic new black Controller for use with PS4 console - It does look generally cool, and it's perfectly compatible with the PS4, however the actual layout of the controller is of a Xbox controller, which can be very annoying and can take long to get used to for experienced PS players.Wired connection for continuous play - It is wired, yes, but it can't even go 5-10 minutes without disabling itself. What I mean by this is that the controller after 5-10 minutes just randomly stops functioning, and the only way to get it to function again is to re-plug the controller, which is extremely annoying for competitive play.Comfortable design - I got hand cramps after using the controller for 10 minutes. Not joking. The thumbsticks are way too small to actually be comfortable and actually can easily be taken out.3 metre cable - The cable is actually 3 metres, so that's a nice touch. It helps for people like me who want to play from a further distance than the PS4 than normal, although if you really are going to do that I suggest you just go with a wireless controller.Also, to mention, before people say I've used this for a long time so it's not going to be good condition anymore, I got this 2 days ago. 2.So there you go, the controller is complete garbage, don't be like me and forget to check the reviews and just buy it.

Ignore all the one star reviews, I was quite dubious about buying this but did the firmware update (follow the instructions on the subsonic website) and has worked faultlessly since. There are also two versions of this controller so make sure you update it with the correct firmware (this is all explained in the instructions)My only negative above this is the buttons have a number of dots of them instead of the the normal playstation button markings ie the x, square, triangle etc and as someone whom is quite new to PS I sometimes have to look down and check what button to press and this controller is no help.

I bought this item before I read the reviews I like to live dangerously. I noticed alot of negatives and was fearing the worse. Basicly the pad does disconnect like a normal pad would should it be left unattended its like a sleep mode feature. As inconvenience as it maybe all you need to do is unplug it and then plug it back and its back to working normally. I'll update after ive hit the fall out 4 wastelands.

Edit: only one of the Controllers is any good the other has terrible response I.e bearly working R1 and R2 triggers making it unusable for cod not worth tbh...Happy with purchase. Quality seems good, much better than other wired controllers I've purchased in the past. Only complaint is they both sometimes disconnect and I have to press the ps button to reconnect other than that perfect for what I need although I admit a headphone port would be nice but I knew they didn't have them at the time of purchase

Was skeptical about buying this, given the reviews I'd read here. I was desperate (I'd just bought Final Fantasy XV) and I needed a pad that could play for long periods (both of my 1st gen Dual Shock 4's last about an hour on battery power now, and the 2m USB charging cable is just not long enough).I got this and was actually really impressed by the quality and build of the item for the price. It feels light, but sturdy, and the only 2 omissions (a full touch pad and headphone socket) don't really affect my gaming. Most games now use the central touchpad on the official pads as just an extra button, and this button works just fine for that.It has a layout similar to an XBOX controller, which some people prefer. I know I'm certainly having less issues accidentally touching the touchpad when I'm using the analogue sticks on this pad, compared to the official ones.The 3m cable is plenty long enough, and it is comfortable for long play times (6hrs+).The only fiddle is updating the firmware, which there are plenty of youtube videos and community posts to help with. Once this is done, you're all set and can enjoy playing for long periods of time, with no worries about disconnecting or battery drain.It also features a light bar, so you can use it with PSVR games.On the whole, I'm so glad I went with my gut and decided to give this a try, it's totally worth the money, and a massive improvement on most 3rd party pads (and some official pads).

I decided to give this a shot despite all the poor reviews. It seemed that most people did not read the description that this product must be updated.Once updated this works a charm no disconnection problems as others have mentioned after playing a solid 2 hours of multiplayer. My PS4 is updated tot he latest firmware by the way.It is a tad smaller than the original controller and it does make the trigger buttons a bit more awkward as they are a little too close to my palms.The analog sticks are actually better than the original controllers. They snap back to the middle firmly, and are indented so you don't need thumb grips (a lot of people like myself, our thumbs slip of). The analog stick location where the buttons usually are, is also a bug preference for me.The central button which is usually the touch pad feels cheap, but the rest of the controller has a sturdy (yet also cheap) feeling. It is quite light but that is to be expected since it is wired and has no internal battery. I think it could take a good beating and last a while.I love couch Co-op games, but the only ones out are Resident Evil, Fifa, and COD. It feels pointless buying another full price controller for 3 games, and since its couch co-op, features like headset connector or touch pad wont be missed so I feel its well worth saving money and getting this.

Todo perfecto. Al principio no funcionaba correctamente, pero lo actualicé siguiendo las instrucciones que indican y ahora va de maravilla. hace ya más de un año que lo compré y sigue funcionando como si fuera nuevo. La mayor ventaja es no tener que estar preocupado por si se te va a acabar la batería. El panel touch no funciona como el del mando original, aunque sí que tiene la función de apretarlo como si fuese un botón, así que no me importa mucho, no es algo que se use frecuentemente.

1 an que j'ai la manette, elle se deconnectais au bout de 5 min mais les mise a jour règle le probleme, tres bien pour fifa, bonne manette

Ich finde denn Controller sehr hübsch was leider nur schade ist er hat kein an Schluss für ein Headset aber dafür ist der Preis auch voll in Ordnung ich glaube ich werde mir nur noch die Controller holen 👍🏻

Controller ottimo!! Solo 20 euro per un controller così è un regalo! Consigliatissimo a chi non vuole spendere 50+ euro per un controller originale. La forma è identica a quella del controller per xbox one, quindi molto comodo ed ergonomico. Il pad touch è solo finto ma onestamente io non l'ho mai usato e va bene così. Il cavo è lunghissimo (3 m) e non crea problemi. Insomma consigliatissimo.

Lo compré para otra persona pero vamos no se ha quejado debe de ser bueno
