Thar she blows!!
My 20 odd year old, handy little DIY portable compressor started to vent air at below the preset cut off pressure. Some investigation revealed a faulty safety valve, hence this purchase. Replacement of the defective valve was achieved in about 5 minutes and effected a complete cure of the problem, so it does it's job and fits fine. I used a little Loctite PTFE sealing paste on the male thread to ensure a seal. Visual quality is acceptable, certainly equal to or better than the original, so if it lasts another 20 years there will be nothing to complain about!
