This is, like most of their products, a good, reliable, mid-priced item. Robust enough for sustained use, and the work of five minutes to reverse the closer. Unlike the cheaper locks, they have fitted a machine screw to it, so it is simple enough to unscrew and flip over. Do take a photo first though, in case you trigger the spring and can't remember, once you find it, where the ends fit inside the lock! Experience is a great teacher! Five stars for the quality at this price.

used for lock on back gate, easy to fit but because outside was easy to take back of and fill with crease to stop water getting in, work well as make easy to lock and unlock from both outside and in side garden

I bought it as a replacement for a 'Union' rimrock. Whilst the product seems to be robust, the dimensions differed slightly so that the lip of the lock didn't reach the edge of the door. The solution entailed extra work to fit it correctly.

This was a big disappointment. It was very poorly made and quickly fell to pieces as it was being fitted.

If you need to reverse the catch, be very careful of the spring moving out of place and pinging away.

This looks great and comes complete with two keys and all the necessary screws for fitting. Installing it was very straightforward and it does function overall, but it has flaws. The latch mechanism feels a little short, so I have to firmly push to properly close the door - it’s manageable, but I will try adding a small piece of wood behind the catch box/plate to bring it out further. The most disappointing thing is the latch turning feature, which seems flimsy. It doesn’t operate smoothly and lacks the robustness I had in my previous lock. This could be partly due to my old door and lever, but since my previous lock didn’t have this issue, I think it's more likely the lock’s design. Overall, while the lock is ok for now, its build quality is not great and I’m disappointed with its performance.

This lock has a decent bit of weight on it, and feels smooth in operation. Easily fitted to replac an older rimlock that was on its way out. If I had to find something to warn about its that it's not really designed for older, thicker doors. The key, when used on the opposite side to the lock is just long enough to be able to engage in the mechanism and turn. Not a real issue but can make finding the mechanism a touch difficult at times. Overall a very good purchase for the price and matched well with a black iron handle and escutcheon.
