We purchased this screen just over a year ago. We've only used it about a half dozen times but have really enjoyed the quality and ease of use.You really can tell the difference between projecting the image on the side of your house versus onto a real screen. Our outdoor projector has a decent amount of lumens but not the highest. You still get a bright image at dusk with this screen.Putting it together is pretty straight forward and the frame can be put up quickly. It does take some serious pulling to get the screen buttons fit all the way around but if you follow the instructions and start from the right areas, it's mostly painless.We had one of the hinges break on our frame rendering it basically useless. While the majority of the aluminum frame is very strong, the hinges were soft aluminum as well and not ideal as they are a folding/stress point when you pack it up. I panicked at first and thought we had just wasted a $500 investment. But I saw that they offer a two year warranty. I reached out and sent pictures with my original invoice.There was no issues and blame game tactics. They just asked we send a picture of the screen portion destroyed and fill out a form. We had to pay for shipping, but a small price to be reimbursed for the entire screen. They also said they would send the newest model where they had improved the hinges. So they obviously had seen some issues in the past.It's so refreshing to see a company stand behind their product and warranties for once.I'll be looking for another retractable screen for our home patio, they will definitely get my business on that one as well.

I was so excited to use the screen but it came with two left legs instead of a left and right so I could not secure the braces to one of the legs and two snaps were missing from the frame. returning it. I hope they all don't come like this because would really like to get another one.

First of the two screens I opened was flawless. The screen fabric stretched to fit perfectly. Was fairly quick for one person to set up. There are a few wrinkles in the fabric which I'm sure will be stretched out over time, kind of expected with a portable pop up screen.The second screen however, has a few flaws. Missing plastic ends of the frame, and one leg, the left side looking from the back the threads and hole doesn't line up making it impossible to screw together. If Elite Screens could send a couple of the plastic covers, I think I can manage to drill the hole ever so slightly bigger to make it work.The other reviews mentioned moisture and mildew growth, I'd definitely suggest keeping the silica gel in the travel bag. I have a blow up screen and have had it over a year with similar screen material and haven't had any issues with that screen. Just be sure to wipe it down before packing it up if you use it outside.

I did not have a good experience with this screen due to it being defective, but I will try and be as objective as possible. Let's start with setup, it is quick and simple. The frame and the screen are well made for it to be out door. The frame is solid and stable. The screen is secure and under slightly windy evening, the unit did not wobble. I didn't even have to use strings to anchor it down. The screen received crystal clear image. I was very please with the high quality projection.Let's talk about the creases. This screen comes folded and is suppose to stretch out when secure to the frame over a week or two. I don't mind small creases because when you are watching the movie under low light, the small creases are not visible and doesn't take away from the image. However, when the crease is deep and makes your screen looks like there is a crack in it then that's not tolerable. I want to watch one big screen, not 9 small screens placed together. I purchase this screen in August, and the average temperature here for August is well above 100 degrees. When this screen sits in a metal container of a delivery truck, it is like an oven baking the screen and causing the crease to become very deep. Unfortunately you can't get the deep crease out after its been baked. Bottom line, 3 stars for the product but customer service has been exceptional so I am giving them an extra star for effort.I like everything about this screen except for the extreme fold lines. I would advice not buying this screen in the heat of summer if you live in places that are too hot. Learn from my mistake and take in account of the weather when you buy things. I also feel bad for UPS drivers, they, like your packages, also don't get ac when it's 112 degrees outside.

This is a truly great product. It made my summer. It is easy to put together and take apart. My frame recently broke while taking it down and I'm going to start the process to get support to replace it. That being said, although my frame broke, I still give this product 5 stars because my family and I have loved this for the summer movie nights. I cannot wait to work with Elite Screens to get a replacement. I'm sure this has happened to others and I will update my review to let everyone know how my experience with support goes. I recommend this product!*UPDATE*:The RMA process went smoothly. Elite Screens has excellent customer service and I appreciated how they assisted me and sent me a replacement frame immediately. I'm very happy with this product! Elite Screens is AMAZING!
