This bruised my face pretty bad, not sure how safe or good it is for skin considering

There wasn't a single time I regretted purchasing this item, it's a great deal for the price. I did get a few bruises cause I tried it on max speed, yet it's entirely on me, now I mostly use it on the first speed and it picks up all the dirt just as effectively. I found that the smallest head is the most effective on the nose area. Still haven't quite figure if the blue light is effective and what it's actually doing, cause the translation in the manual is somewhat funny. Also I was surprised with the exfoliating head, it felt gentle but it picked up so much dead skin!
