Excellent detail in one place

This is a good book and the best out there other than internet forums but I'm disappointed that there are no 1997 wiring diagrams and the early 97 model has some significant differences from the 98 model, like an 8 pin locking latch plug.

Purchased to be able to work on the car myself with the confidence and knowledge this book gives, very good manual and worth the money, I also purchased 101 projects as well to go along with it and I’m very happy I did.

This is an essential guide if you plan to do any maintenance on your Boxster. It is helpful as it helps an owner understand what is involved in undertaking repairs and therefore to decide if you need a Porsche Centre or garage to do the work. It includes a lot of useful data about the car.Apart from the official Porsche publication (which is hard to obtain and extremely expensive) it is the only maintenance manual available for the car. It is a publication that is frequently referred to on various owner forums.The bottom line? Expensive yes, if compared to a Haynes manual, but it will almost certainly pay for itself the first job you do.
