Fisher-PriceDGH83 Soothe and Glow Seahorse

This is really lovely. We’ve named her Tallulah!I got this about 3 weeks ago for my baby however she had no interest. That’s all changed now though! I tried her with it again a few days ago and it’s now her favourite thing. (She’s 16 weeks old)She really hated going in the car but yesterday we went out and I put this in her car seat and it completely distracted her.The tunes it plays are really sweet and not annoying like a lot of toys!Her 2.5 year old cousin has one also and adores it, she calls it her ‘lullaby fish’ and uses the light if she gets scared in the night as I told her the light makes monsters go away.A very good buy. It also came with batteries included which is brilliant.

I have previously purchased this product when my children were babies and recently bought this for a friends baby. She was as thrilled with it as I had been. Works a charm! Haven’t heard anyone not have success with this! It’s also not offensive to listen to as a parent like other alternatives! Definitely worth the money!

Cons: Why they don't put a zip rather than velcro where the batteries pocket?When the first thing babies/children learn is to open velcro and not zips.Also low settings is loud enough. We never use the loud setting, it is too loud.The toy needs a quiter low setting than the ones it has currently.At night time that the atmosphere is quiter, the "low setting" sounds too loud.During the day is "ok".So, Fisher-Price should readjust this settings and redesign the battery aperture as it is very easy to access for babies as well as velcro is very rough so it could scratch their delicate face or in general baby skin or even harm their eyes.They should put a zip and place it well so it hides the buckle once fasten.Come on! they're lots of smart people out there! You could get it right!Also I reckon if this were real brush cotton fabric rather than polyester, people will be over the moon with this cute seahorse. As well as safeter for baby.Also I don't get the music settings, why the sort settings is not at least the whole tune or song rather than some seconds...it doesn't make sense.Who wants 5 seconds or music? For what? Pointless.I guess you made it for shopping testing but don't make it up that there are 3 settings. Useful settings only two: Off and On (5 minutes music).

I originally ordered the blue seahorse for my eldest daughter who is almost 5 now. She's had him from the week she was born and has never been a single night without him. He's been puked on, pee'd on and snotted on yet he's still playing his beautiful music. She asked me for a new pink one for Christmas and she loves her just as much as her old one. I'm amazed at how clear the music Is in her original one compared to her new one. Her blue one is her sister's now who is 3 so now they are both soothed to sleep by their seahorses. This product has been well worth the money over the years and it's totally child proof. The batteries are very well tucked away from tiny hands and the electronic bits are removable so that the seahorse can be washed. The batteries last ages and the slightest squeeze from tiny hands will light up the tummy and play the ocean sounds with music. I can't recommend this product enough.

Such a nice little toy, we placed this in bed with our little girl when she was 1 and she loved having it help soothe her to sleep. The music is very low and relaxing and the toy itself is very cute and cuddly
