I bought this to take on a camping trip just in case. Luckily I've never needed it but it's always very reassuring to have a first aid kit just in case. If you do need it, it might just save somebodies life, or could help keep somebody comfortable and reassured while help arrives and prevent further injury, or just keep a minor injury at bay so you can soldier on in relative comfort. Something as simple as a small cut on your foot or hand can make a hiking trip very unpleasant. Having this solves that problem. It has a good variety of things and pretty much everything you'd need in a normal situation for most injuries. There is a small amount of space in the bag to add things to it so i packed in some extra things to further increase the versatility of this kit. I also added some pain killers as they can't include things like that in the kit. Not that i needed to i just like to be extra cautious. It's great value, the things inside seem to be good quality, and it's just a great thing to take camping or hiking, or even just to have in your car boot. The handy first aid guide is a very great addition as well! Worth every penny.

For a 50 mile hot trekking holiday this had most of what we needed - and was well made. Due to chafing, we needed to replace bandages for my other half, so would bring top ups for a similar trip as the pack is a big as you would like in a 30 litre day backpack (but not too big). I was concerned that the white part on the plasters reached the edges width ways, but having used a few during the trip they stuck pretty well.
