So, I read many reviews on how this pillow arrived having a huge flat spot and not thick and all flimsy... well when my pillow arrived and I took it out of it's nice plastic carrying case (which in side that the pillow was rapped in a plastic seal to keep extra protected), the pillow did have a flat spot where no foam was and it was very flimsy.... what do you expect?! 1. It has been folded up tightly 2. It is chopped up foam, not a solid memory foam 3. The memory foam is heavy!WELL good news, this is all a quick and easy fix.1. At one end hold it up and shake all the foam down to the other side, make it bulky and tight2. Lay it on a flat surface and spread the foam through out the pillow3. The pillow could still be flimsy (mine was) but this helps to dispirse it a little better4. Put it in the dryer for 35 minutes on medium heat, or what ever you feel is better (I did with a dryer sheet for better smell since I don't have a front load washer to wash it in) and let it sit for a little bit to cool down.When I took it out the body pillow was big and plump and weight dispersed perfectly that when picking up there was no flimsy-ness or empty spots.This is a very comfy perfect body pillow, how ever I am 5'4 133lbs and it is too big and plump for me; which is why I did not give it 4 stars.

Update 1 year later: I have to take back some of the bad things I felt about this pillow. After each washing it fells like new. Even though it is not the advertised size it is comfortable & easy to form how you want it. Be warned it is extremely heavy!!! Rolling over at night ain't an easy task. Knowing what I know after a year of use I'm not sure I would buy. It won't be replaced with another one unless size is guaranteed.False advertising! I purchased because I am disabled and needed a long body pillow of 58" - 60". This pillow states both of those in descriptions. Pillow is actually only 51" long. That's 3" shorter than a Walmart $13.00 pillow at 54". Sorry I trusted description over some of the reviews. Believe the reviews regarding length!

I have three of these so far and they are excellent.I have been through many before which I either give away or use for the pups.You can put two PURPLE pillows on top plus your head.10lbs each pillow, plus about 11lbs for your head is 30 pounds, and they still do not go flat like all the rest.I used one under the PURPLE pillow since they stopped shipping with the riser.I use the two PURPLE pillows on top of this to prop my head up while reading.I do sleep on a hard-side waterbed though. (When PROPERLY filled, it is the best sleep you can get)

Very pleased with the product. Like others here, I'm a side sleeper. I have knee problems and sleeping on my side was making things worse. This keeps my ankles and knees apart very comfortably. As another reviewer suggested, I threw it in the dryer to fluff it up when I got it. It worked wonderfully. I did pick up some pillow cases for use with it, because I would never think to use a pillow without a pillow case. The standard size body pillow case, 20x54, fits this pillow just fine, and it doesn't stick out. There was even one listed with this product when I bought mine, and I just bought that one.As I said, very pleased.

I loved this pillow when I first got it. Definitely worth the money when I first got it. But it quickly lost its fluff within a month and a break happened in the middle of the pillow.The size is great!And it does smell really bad of chemical. But once I aired it out for a few nights and then put a pillow case over it I didn't smell much of the chemical.I just wish it lasted longer as far as fluff and thickness.

This pillow replaces one that was solid blocks of memory foam. That pillow was very heavy and I could never get it arranged properly. This one, with the shredded memory foam, is much more amenable to whatever position I need it to be in. I was taken aback at first when the pillow arrived looking like it had just come from a session with a hydraulic press. The instructions came to the rescue: put in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes and repeat if necessary. After 2 iterations, the pillow was now perfect! I plan to repeat this sequence if it flattens too much.

I have had this photo a little under a year and it still has not gone flat. I have not had any issues with length or flatness. To me, it's almost a bit too much. Sometimes the bottom will start to slide off the bed and I feel like it might drag me along with it!

Xmas present for the Mrs. She's had it for a month and loving it since day one. Word of advice: pillow will look very flat upon delivery. Evenly distribute material then place in the dryer at low heat for 30 minutes. It will expand to normal size like magic. Since I love sleeping on a Bamboo shredded memory foam pillow and I’m now suffering from sciatica pain, my physiotherapist recommended a body pillow. Saw a lot of different types but decided to stick with bamboo shredded memory foam and I’m glad I did. This pillow came all wrapped in plastic but as soon as I removed the plastic disposable wrap, the original pillow was restored. I plumped it up and used it this afternoon for my nap. It feels very comfortable, a bit firm but pliable and molds to my body. I still rest my head on a pillow and only use this for my arm and legs. Turning from side to side is surprisingly easy.

This pillow is way too hard/firm. After trying to sleep on it for the first 3 nights, I gave up because I woke up with severe headaches. Now I'm just using it if I'm sitting up in bed, watching TV or reading a book. It's also longer than a standard body pillow and doesn't fit into a standard body pillow case.

This pillow is excellent for pregnant women, people with hip/knee issues or humans that are generally lonely and want to fantasize about cuddling another person at night. The pillow is durable, flexible and comfortable.

Love this pillow. Very well made. Stays puffed up as opposed to cheaper body pillows that go flat right away. So comfortable and provides great support for a side sleeper. Washes well in a front loading machine. Slow to dry in a dryer as it is a huge pillow (throwing a dry towel in with it seems to speed up the drying time). Husband loved it so I had to order another one. Got 60" pillowcases from BRIGHTLINEN. Perfect fit. Extremely happy customer.

My opinion is nearly as bad as the worst reviewers would have you think, though also not nearly as good as the best. It would be a great product at half the price. It's comfortable and I enjoy it. It's neither flat nor firm, but it certainly is overpriced.
