I love these speakers
If you know anything about car audio you know focal and alpine are hands down the best speakers for the money. These focals don’t disappoint. Running through an amp they are awesome. Plenty of power and clean sound with nice bass response. Best for the money in my opinion. Absolute audiophile here

mega good sound
so i am a hifi enthusiast and my girlfriend got me these for xmas for the car after fitting and running them in i can honestly say they are excellent, the tweeters hide if you site them well and you will get a stereo image from them wich for a car is impressive!there best attribute is just how transparent sounding they are the treble is crisp but real sounding, they would benifit from being amped rather than just running them from your headunit just to give them some headroom as they will be epic from the head but like i say headroom would be a nice thing to have with these.we played to a number of tracks to set them up and site the tweeters from bejork to orbital and some acustic stuff all of which sounded well rounded and detailedi am astonished by the sound for the pound you get.

Incredible sound for the price
These sound immense in my car, replacing the factory speakers with these and an amp and it transforms the audio quality. Would recommend pairing with a strong amp and a new head unit to get the most out of these!I mounted the tweeters on the dash just below the windscreen tilted towards me and they are so sharp and crisp - I've got the crossovers set to -3dB as they're particularly sharp sounding speakers (apparently due to the fibreglass diaphragms)

Good Quality - Worth the Money
I bought the Focal IC165 VW coaxial speakers in 2016 and used them as real door speakers in my Tiguan. I found that their sound, although good, did not match with the front door speakers (another brand) very well. So, I bought the 165 AS speakers for the front doors. Now, they sounds better. The 165 AS speakers are well protected by the packaging. I received the product in perfect conditions. One suggestion - the manufacturer had better include a pair of electrical wires for the woofer units. It would be even better if they can be pre-soldered onto the woofers.

I love these speakers
I love these speakers, crisp, clear, loud, to get the best out of them then use an appropriate amplifier as well.

Need an amp to drive them or they’ll seem quiet
I’ve just installed these today with Motorlead surrounds fit fine in golf mk5. Crossovers suck wattage and these speakers are a lot less sensitive that the stock speakers so seem quiet in comparison. To remedy this, add a decent sized amp, or leave out the crossovers. I decided to leave the crossovers in as it will make wiring to a 4 channel amp easier. Got a 3 way focal set to install in the front this weekend, that will be fun. If you’re installing in a 3 door best of luck it was a tough job.
