Well, Silverline 3 tonne axle stands, let's face it, Silverline aren't exactly regarded as one of the best brands you can buy. I looked at the reviews and considered the competition, and to be honest, they all looked the same! I felt it was a bit of a gamble, putting myself under the car whilst these were going to hold it up, but here I am to tell the story! I slowly jacked up the rear my Ford Focus Estate, found a good spot for these under the car, got them to the right height, then even more slowly, lowered the jack and let these take the weight. Not a creak or moan from these, I can't say the same for the car! Once I had been under for a short time I felt fully confident with these. I had to get a hacksaw to my rear roll bar droplinks to get the new ones on, these took it all in their stride. I can wholeheartedly recommend these!

I recently picked up the Silverline Axle Stand Set (2 pieces, 3 Tonne), and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with them! Sturdy and seem well up to the job. The leaver action to drop the support works well with only a short movement required but is of course locked when under pressure. They a have a decently wide base for stability and the only possible criticism would be they are quite tall so you have to jack the car up quite a way before you can put them under. This is a reflection of their robust construction really as the only way to reduce the height would be to reduce the base size and general chunkiness. As for service satisfaction etc. my order dispatch was cocked up but rectified promptly once I complained.

Easy to use and very secure. Got these to do work on my car at home and they worked excellently when I was changing my brake rotors and pads. They are very sturdy and the ratchets are solid, there is no mistaking you are in the right place when you hear the ratchet move. I would recommend these to anyone thinking about working on their vehicle. Just please make sure you get the right stands for your weight of vehicle or like me get ones designed for much heavier vehicles.

I ordered these yesterday and my vehicle is now standing on them today! They appear to be strong, well made and are easy to adjust. Note the three tonne rating is per stand. I am using them for a MPV (a Fiat Ulysse, same as Citroen C8 & Peugeot 807) and the height range is ideal so would also be suitable for small to medium sized vans. I've not tried them on my Citroen C3 yet but they certainly look like they would be fine on the lower setting. All in all a great value product.

Bought these earlier this year to replace my old stands. I prefer these because I only need to stretch one arm under the car to locate and raise them rather than both arms needed for the old stands where you had to raise the pad with one hand and push a pin in with the other hand. Much safer should something go wrong! Have used them on my 2 cars on a couple of occasions up to now. Very pleased. These axle stands are well made for their price of £19.09 (with free postage from my seller). They each have a load limit of 3 metric tonnes (3,000 Kg) which is more than enough for most domestic car light van users. They have a minimum height of 285mm and a maximum height of 420mm with eight equally spaced intermediate heights (with approx. 1.6 cm spacing between each of them). They weigh 3.25 Kg each and the ratchet handle makes a convenient handle to carry them. The saddle is 7cm wide. I should've bought these years ago rather than soldier on with my very old tripod type stands. Used them recently to replace rear brake calipers on my car and felt confident with the car just hovering above them on the trolley jack.

sind super böcke zu einem fairen preis! auto steht richtig stabil drauf und sie tun was sie sollen! wieso es dann leute gibt die weniger als 5 sterne vergeben weil sie in der tiefsten stellung für "sie" zu hoch sind oder weil sie mit 4 beinen evtl bei unebenen grund nicht so einfach stehen als böcke mit 3 beinen will nicht in meinen kopf gehn... steht doch alles da wie hoch sie sind und man sieht das sie 4 beine haben.... warum das produkt schlecht machen nur weil man nicht lesen und schauen kann? böcke sind super!

Supporte vraiment la voiture, un produit de qualité impressionnante, j'ai même acheté une autre paire exactement la même, alors maintenant j'ai quatre. Se sent très lourd et fiable et je me suis senti très en sécurité en train de monter sous la voiture soutenue par ces stands.
