Packing Carton Double Wall Strong Flat-packed, 457x305x305mm, Pack of 15 (307688), Brown

A few weeks ago now we signed a tenancy on a new house and gave our final months notice to our current letting agency. Unfortunately, neither my partner or I are very organised and we have both pretty much left everything to the last possible minute. With the end date of our current tenancy looming in just a week we thought we had better finally get a move on. My partner was in charge of booking a removal firm whilst I was in charge of boxing everything up. With this in mind, I needed….well lots of boxes. With the van booked and deposit already paid I needed to source some boxes quickly. I visited Amazon and they had just what I wanted, a pack of 15 boxes for moving house which had fairly good reviews.The next day at 9:30am my parcel arrived by courier (with Amazon Prime) thankfully whilst I was in and I was able to sign for the delivery and getting started with the packing. The boxes came packaged in a large plastic postal van, which was completely sealed around the edges. I mention this as a number of other reviewers on Amazon complained about the packaging in which the boxes were delivered to them, with one reviewer complaining that they hadn’t been in to collect the packet and so the delivery driver had just left it outside in the rain where obviously the cardboard had gotten wet and therefore became unusable.Inside the plastic packaging were all 15 boxes, flat packed and attached together with a plastic strip. I cut the strip to release the boxes and began putting them together. I found this incredibly quick and easy to do, by simply overlapping the four flaps on either side. I secured the bottom of each box with strong tape, using extra tape on the boxes that were going to carry heavier and more valuable items such as books and games consoles.The boxes measure 457x305x305mm*, I found them to be of a perfect size. They were not so small that they couldn’t carry enough and not too large were they became difficult or cumbersome to lift. I was able to get an awful lot packed away in these boxes.I filled my car with the boxes and drove them to the new house. Non of the boxes ripped or became damage during this move, their bottoms also remained sturdy. They were excellent for moving all the items I packed into them. I emptied the contents of the boxes into the new house and took the empty boxes back home to reuse on another load. I had no problems with the boxes, I feel confident that I will be able to reuse them a few more times.These cardboard boxes are of an excellent quality and fit for purpose. The boxes have plenty of room inside and are reusable. Obviously its best to avoid overfilling them because they are still just made out of cardboard, I would suggest taping up the bottoms with strong tape for extra support.I would certainly recommend them to those moving home, especially if you are struggling to get hold of any free ones from the supermarkets. They are quite expensive for just some boxes but I found them to be very helpful.*other sizes are available

Hi guys,Here are the things to know about these boxes! (I tried to include the most important things that I wanted to know as a customer before buying them AND running out of time and on a tight budget for the house move)1)QUALITY/MATERIAL: They are very sturdy and of good quality material.2)WEIGHT/CAPACITY: They can take up to 21 kg and hold up fine! I packed heavy books in them and they were absolutely fine, without having to use a ton of tape to keep them together.3)SIZE/LIFTING THEM: I would call them something between medium and large and I have included some pictures with my hand next to them so you can get some perspective and see if they are big enough for you. Also, they are easily lifted by ONE person even at their fullest/heaviest (I'm an average size woman) so if you are booking movers that charge extra to have 2 people to lift each box, you don't need them unless maybe you have lots of stairs or 50 boxes.4)DELIVERY: I know this varies depending on your timeframe, company logistics and where you live BUT don't get discouraged by the horror reviews of customers here who said their boxes got delivered in bad condition or that the company damaged them the way they had packaged them. They are packaged just fine and most likely yours will be in great condition upon delivery, too. Mine arrived within 3 working days!5)ASSEMBLY: They are very easy to assemble in no time and if you are moving by yourself, you can manage putting them together perfectly! All you need is a bit of tape and they are ready in hardly any time at all! Nothing fancy or complicated (again I'm not an experienced mover or anything)The only thing I have yet to find out is if they could be used again in the future if opened carefully and stored appropriately after the move, but let's see!I have included photos of the boxes at different stages of use: just delivered,assembled and empty, assembled and closed, and stacked up in a pile next to other objects for perspective! One last TIP: I found helpful to write both a list of the detailed contents of each box, number each box AND write a brief description on each box to quickly identify them. I also wrote the weight of each box both on the list and on the box itself in case Interparcel wanted to dispute any of the costs. This way I am prepared and know what's happening. I recommend weighing each box as soon as you finish it so that you don't have to move around a huge pile of boxes to weight them at the end after you're done with all of them, It's easier this way :) Good luck guys! Boxes are very sturdy and size is great. But they are expensive, probably because not many around at this size so they up the price. Anyway, I needed these boxes and they work great.

pratique pour des livres mais le carton plein de bouquin finit par être un peu lourd.

J'ai acheté ces cartons en "offre reconditionnée", pour 25€. Il sont livrés dans un énorme carton. Les cartons sont solides, les miens avaient quelques traces (3-4 cartons avec des rainures, laissant supposer que quelque chose de lourd avait été appuyé contre, mais carton non abîmé ou troué), mais cela vient de l'offre reconditionnée.On trouve toutefois moins cher en cartons sur internet.

Idéales pour les déménager les livres à condition de ne pas les charger complètement car leur poidsserais excessif pour pouvoir les manipuler, leur croûte extérieure n'est pas résistante, elle cède facilement aux chocs. Je conseille de mettre des objets légers pour combler le vide qu'on doit laisser.
