The Gro Company Grolight 2-in-1 Night Light Bayonet Fitting

I bought this as a nightlight alternative when my son began his seemingly inevitable 'scared of the dark' phase. I began by looking at night lights but was put off by so many being too bright or finding a place to put them. I then came across this light which completely confused me and it sounded too good to be true...it is not. Very easy to install, just make sure you order a screw or bayonet depending on your light fitting. It makes perfect sense how to use, and so clever that it just works with your current light switch - no tech needed! One switch turns the little light on but turn it off and on again quickly turns the big light on, you get used to this very quickly. I've recently discovered it doesn't actually require the bulb to work as for the past few weeks the bulb has gone but the little light is still working grand. There is a dial on the device so you can change the brightness to how you want. If anything I would want it to go a little duller. It seems so tiny when you put them to bed but in the pitch black of 3am it's pretty bright, however it really doesn't seem to bother the little one he and rarely wakes up in the night. It just offers him enough comfort if he wakes up in the night and isn't just another item cluttering up surfaces. It's a win win all round, recommended.

We bought this light for use in our 4 year old's room, as she'd recently started to say she was afraid of the dark. We tried looking for night lights, but struggled to find any that weren't battery operated (not wanting to go through tons of batteries!). Having used various Gro Company products in the past and loved them (e.g. Gro Bags, Gro Egg, Gro Clock), I was so pleased to see that they'd come up with a solution to the problem!The product is very simple to fit - it just slots straight into a bayonet light fitting, and then the lightbulb fits into the Gro Light. Very easy to use too - one flick of the light switch for the dimmer Gro Light to come on, and another flick for the main light bulb to come on instead.We've been using this for a few weeks now, and our daughter loves it. The level of light is perfect, and since fitting it she hasn't been up once in the night saying she's scared of the dark. Highly recommended, another great product from the Gro Company!

Works perfectly for it's intended purpose. Bought because my boys do not like complete darkness but are also not keen on having normal night lights as it is too light. Thinking I would be faced with impossible task, I decided to purchase this on a whim and I am very glad to have done so.Very easy to fit (make sure you choose right fitting type for the light of choice). I love the ability to adjust the brightness as the lowest setting is perfect amount of glow for them in their room. The system of flicking on/off 1-2 times depending on which light you wish to use is perfect and so simple. Only downside is that it does mean our particular lightbulb attached to it sticks out below bottom of the light shade but this would not deter me from purchasing again.

This is great. With our newborn we didn't want to have large amounts of light at night but needed enough so we could see her as well as change her in the night with minimal disturbance. We started off using a reading light that attached to a book for low light but found this. It attaches to your normal ceiling light or bedside lamp and goes in line between your bulb holder and your bulb. It also has a control on it to increase and decrease the light level. It allows use of this light or the main light and that is controlled from your light switch- switch once and the low level light is on, switch off and on again and it's your main bulb.One thing to note is there are two connectors available, screw and bayonet so get the correct one for your fitting! I found the bayonet fitting cheaper and because I've got both screw and bayonet lamps I bought the bayonet and a screw to bayonet converter.

Works exactly as you imagine. If you can change a lightbulb you can install it. Good adjustment from very dim to quite bright actually.Operates from the normal light switch in the room. Turn on for grow light, then of and on again for the main light.Only criticism is that the LEDs are cool white giving a cold feel.In future conside making warm white or even coloured options.

We were having trouble with the kids in the middle of the night and wondered if the dark played a part if they woke up. So we gave this a go. They are easy to fit straight into a standard bulb fitting and you can easily set the light to the brightness you prefer by turning a small button on the fitting. You can do this while it is installed which is good for finding the perfect setting for each child. I quite like it on the lowest light as it just adds a slight glow to the room like the sort a monitor night light gives. This has definitely helped our children, especially our two year old who has just gone into a cotbed. One little tip is to double check it in the morning as we can sometimes forget to turn it off as when it’s light you almost don’t notice there is a ceiling light on at all. Photos show it at the low setting (room is still pretty dark).

Well made and my boys woulnt be without it at night

Pensaba que funcionaría en alguna de las roscas habituales, E27 o E14. Pero no es el caso. En su lugar usa un tipo de rosca que no había visto en la vida, y que por lo visto se llama rosca Edison. Imagino que en algún país será estándar, pero no sé si en España se usa este conector. Yo no lo había visto nunca.Aseguraos de que tenéis ese tipo de rosca antes de comprarlo.Lo devolví inmediatamente, y sin problema alguno por parte de Amazon.

Night light itself is perfect, can dim and also use as a normal light HOWEVER, extremely flimsy. It goes into the light crooked, it feels like it’s going to snap or fall out. That is really disappointing. I’m concerned it will fall out but as far as the function itself it’s perfect. If only it would go in properly.So it goes where the lightbulb goes then you pop the lightbulb into it.
