Skylanders: A to Z of Skylands Hardcover – 3 Oct. 2013

This is well worth the price. I will admit I bought this for the figure of Trigger Snappy. The fighter is compatible with all portal of powers from Spyro's Adventure, to Trapteam and you even get a barcode to that you can use in the iPad version of Skylander island, I am told there are a couple of tasks in that game that only open is you have a side-kick character like Trigger Snappy.The Trigger Snappy character has all the same moves upgrades and powers as Trigger Happy. The only difference (my son the expert tells me) Snappy is slightly faster, but his attacks take less damage from his opponents then Trigger Happy. The only advantage this really gives you is that it allows you to try the other path when it comes to upgrades. I guess it is not the company just trying to sell another character under a different name.As you kids will tell you (like mine did) the book and only goes as far Skylander Giants). It is postcard sized and is actually quite detailed, with summary of all the Skylanders, villains, places, treasures and vehicles available in the Giants game. Also it has nice big colourful pictures to keep youngster interested.You also get a bonus fold out book that with pictures and quotes from the Skylander available on the game but not the Giants themselves. This also comes in a nice Skylanders box file type container which the kids will not let anyone throw away.

Just to clarify, the figure doesn't work on swap force but does on trap team.Good book to accompany the figures, a bit out of date now that trap team and super chargers are out but it does give stories for each of the characters shown.

Ok so my son hasn't even bothered to look at the book because as most children I imagine, he wanted it purely for the sidekick figure. And it was such a good price it was worth it just for that. It's not a playable character so to speak, but pop it on the portal alongside your skylander and trigger snappy will follow your character around. These are hard to get hold of normally so I'm glad I found this for him

This is a super gift, looks and feels more expensive than the actual cost. Comes with a little figure that would cost more than the entire package if bought on its own. I have never heard of Skylanders before but the six year old recipient is a big fan and was delighted.

I bought this for my nephew and he was very happy. It seemed like good value for the price, some of the skylander stuff is very expensive.

My boy bought this with some of his birthday money an absolute bargain if you ask me the trigger snappy that comes with the book is worth way more than the asking price on its own the book is great to even though it is slightly out of date very happy with this

My grand sons abdolutely loved this item - they are delighted ad am I - having to buy for boys aged 5 who seem to have everything can be a nightmare.
