IDXL2DB1930 Display Board Replacement for Hayward Heater IDXL2DB1930 Display Board， Compatible with Hayward Universal H-Series Low Nox Induced Draft Heater, H400FDN HD150FDN

I recently fixed our broken Hayward Pool (H400FDN) heater. It had been down for about two years. I had been putting it off since the pool doesn’t get used much and felt no need to pay a few hundred dollars getting it fix. I had just installed a new key pad (also purchased on Amazon) and noticed the digital display was not working properly, so back to Amazon. Found this display board for a good price and it too was an easy install. Well, it would have been if I had not messed up.Word of caution: Make sure after plugging in the display board. Screw it into position and don’t let it hang loose like I did while testing it. Consequently, one of the soldered points on the back of the display board touched the metal heater casing, sparked and caused the heater to lose power. After some troubleshooting, I found a fuse located on the mother board which the display board plugs into shorted out. I replaced the 3 amp fuse and I was up and running again.The display board was inexpensive and works great. After checking with the local pool service, I realized I had saved myself several hundred dollars. It put a smile on my face since the total cost, other than my time, was under $100 dollars. Heater was defaulting to 90 after reaching the temperature that I set. On the spa setting, it did the same thing only to 104. This easily replaceable board did the trick. Works like new.

The first one ordered came in the mail but what I received was an empty package...just an empty envelope. Well, it had air inside. After calling, they promptly sent a replacement...this one is dead... :/ Let's see if three is the magic number.Update: Received the third display board and it works perfectly. Hopefully yours will too. If not, the seller will work with you to make it right.

Well, I didn’t have much hope for this thing after opening the package. They used caulk to seal the solder joints where the ribbon attaches to the circuit board(why, I’m not sure). I went ahead and installed it and to my surprise, it works like a champ. Thankfully, the caulked joints are hidden once the unit is reassembled, so the appearance isn’t an issue. I will update if any issues pop up.

I was really skeptical to order this but I read other reviews and figured I’d give it a try. The Hayward one was just so expensive and this one was reasonable priced. Just like other noted the first one we puggled in gave us the same “CE” error, so I logged a return. As soon as I logged the return a second board was automatically shipped. Still skeptical my husband tried plugging it in and then reversed the plugs and it worked!! Our heater is our saving grace especially with these recent chilly nights! Thank you!

Bought as a much cheaper replacement for my hayward pool heater Display Board. We had a bad storm and my heater started reading CE (control error) then wouldn't light up or work at all. We found this replacement which I was able to get for around $50 compared to some of the the $200+ replacements I was seeing. I plugged it in and it lit right up and my heater fired right up. Pictured is the original board that I replaced with this one.

Easy to replace much better than paying $300 for a crappy OEM Hayward one
