Used this to secure my mobile phone, used as a sat nav, to the handlebars of my motor scooter. The clamp held on well but the bracket that holds the phone did 'shake' somewhat! The phone is held firmly by the bracket and I liked the retracting side grips and flip down bottom lip (very neat and clever) but the rubber retainer that slips on between the handlebar clamp and the phone bracket reduces the ratchet action of the 360 degree swivel mechanism and allows the bracket to shake itself out of position - so you have to keep repositioning the orientation of the phone! So I have deducted one star for that reason but otherwise it is a fairly decent bit of kit for not much money!

I bought this to shoot overhead (top-down) iPhone photography and videos, attached to a boom arm on a lighting stand. Works brilliantly!It's completely secure, even when I use it face-down. I don't even have to use the rubber grips on the corners. I just put the phone in, close the clamps around it, and it stays in place. If you are using this on a bike though, I'd recommend using the corners, as they offer a really strong and secure grip.The clamps on either side of the phone are great. Instead of being spring-loaded, they slowly open when you press a button on the side of the phone holder. This is much better for your phone and allows easier release.The only thing that would make this better would be if the attachment was a ball head, so the phone could be angled in any direction. Though, the 360 rotation is still really helpful.

Doesn't really fit large format phones. I've a Samsung J5 and the bands don't stretch round both ends. I've mounted it on a static bike for exercise so its OK for that but wouldn't use on my road bike.

Found it impossible to move the band's when altering angle when mobile is fitted.

I liked this product, but it's not built to last. After about a week of use the spring action stopped working and the teeth on the cogs were gone.

I wasn't expecting much given the low cost, to be honest. But I've been pleasantly surprised! Grips my Huawei P10 perfectly and hasn't let me down over some fairly rough terrain. Would recommend

Easy to put on my bike, keeps my phone safe when I record my bike rides and also very handy when I don't know where I'm going so I can look at the map :)

Holds the Samsung S9 well, that is on & off road use including dirt tracks, release button a bit sticky, need to press really hard to release clamp,
