Bought this as we had a fox who had made a home for itself in our small London garden and was pooing all over the grass and rolling around in it. We have 2 small children. In the first week of using it it improved a bit but since then I have not seen the fox at all and the garden is clean. It does emit a high pitch noise but so happy with it. We are seeing a lot less cats as well.

Does it, or has it ever worked? Bought last week, placed in front garden - in an area out of the shade - turned it on.. It bleeped and flashed a bit and appeared as though it could yet do what it said on the tin...A few nights ago, had to grab a couple of things in the boot of my car, only to find the fox still stalking in the bushes... So I walked in front of the sensor and zip. Nada. Zilch. No bleeps, flashes or signs of life. The failed device is still out there now, broken, doing nowt, an advertisement of a useless product, as I suspect many others are too. Trouble is, when £20 products like this fail almost immediately - and most do - your only real course of action is write a review and hope that those who make waste-of-money products sell far fewer of them.

Detects movement from foliage when the wind blows, so it's on nearly all the time, with a loud beep every minute or so. After about an hour the loud beep becomes continuous, so I can't leave it on when I'm not around, or overnight, as it would upset any neighbours within about 30 yards. I don't know why the beep becomes continuous as the instructions just tell you how to set it up. I shall either return it or bin it.Update: As with another reviewer, I was offered a refund without going through Amazon, and asked to delete the review. As virtually all the critical reviews say the same thing I am confident it is fair.

It is really hard to rate this device because it does 2 things since I have installed it, 3 weeks now. The sound it emits is so loud and happens like every 1 and a half to 3 mins and has become a nuisance to neighbours - 1 star in this case . On the other hand, it seems to be the solution for a litter-free garden from cats' poo - 5 star in this case.

So far so good 😊 really easy to assemble and power up with just a flick of the switch underneath the main housing. You can either fit into the ground at various heights or attach to the wall using the lug holes on the back of the device (no screws in box)The PIR seems accurate enough, on other models you can set the frequency but on this version its fixed same with the lights you cannot choose to enable or disable.The solar panel on top is a decent size so will soak up a lot of light, general construction of the unit is fine and is what you would expect for the price.Over all its doing the job and that’s all I ask 😊

Excellent service - product arrived very quickly. Easy to set up and worked a treat - no more cats messing up the lawn. One device ceased working a few days after installation but on contacting the company they shipped a replacement out same day - arrived a couple of days later and all working again - thank you.

Disappointed. The beeping sound is loud and whilst It worked well initially and seemed to keep the cats away It is now not working and no longer flashes or does the irritating beeps. Good while it lasted
