I think it might be Nylon. Very harsh on sensitive teeth. Maybe Try the oral B Satin floss. So much better!

I'm not sure this one has these chemicals on it but I do know that oral b glide has it so I'd assume it's used on this 1 also. It's (pfas) higher in woman that use this then it is in men. Hope this helps.
